Hey, I recently got DQ'd submarines for medical issue. I'm just wondering if there is a good platform to look into for the most out of a surface journey... Currently I'm an E-6 ETV (Navigation), very motivated and have already done 9 years honorably in the service. Just looking for good ideas from other surface & subs to surface shipmates...Thanks in advance!

Fair winds shipmates!

I would suggest a Destroyer, or maybe a Frigate.

All-male crew, if possible. Nothing against women, it's just that they create "problems".

I spent 4 years on two destroyers and loved it. I also spent time on a carrier and if you like subs, you probably won't like a carrier. They're what everyone says about them. Too big. A mini-city. Etc...

Good luck. Fair winds and following seas.

Small Boys. DDGs. smaller ships mean smaller crews mean more opportunities for collateral duties, more options to stand out from your peers.

Aegis Cruiser or a new DDG.
