He is a man elected by the people twice and he has the backbone to say yes and no when its necessary.
something rare for those in power these days who generally take the easy way.

It makes no sense to me to take money from the people and redistribute it to the pet projects of corporations who own every politician running except one .
Ron Paul is not in anyones pocket and offers America a chance that seldom come around .
A chance to change the course of our future without a civil war .

Seriously do you think there will be any pressure put on him by... say... administration officials torturer in chief to make the report artificially positive? It's not like his boss's entire legacy rests on this September report....

Or is it?

If we are attacked by al qaeda in a fashion similar to or worse than 9/11, are certain people going to think it would not have happened if we hadn't been in Iraq?

Can this question please be discussed civily/ without the drama? I doubt it, but I'm hoping. :)

I just want to know because I hear about a lot of people supporting her but don't explain why. Do you think shes going to bring us out of the tyranny that Bush put us through? And why? I'm curious to know what makes people think she's different from Bush.

To Donna Bakaitis, her oldest son didn't die trying to steal copper wire from the Radford Foundry. Instead, she said, he died while doing his best to try to provide for his family, something he had done since he was a teenager.

Christopher Brandon Goad, 24, died shortly after 8 p.m. Sunday at the DeCamp Burn Center at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center in Charlottesville.

Burned everywhere except his feet Thursday, he clung to life for more than eight hours after being removed from life support about noon Sunday, his family said.

Goad and his stepfather, Stephen Edward Bakaitis, 46, were both severely burned during what police are calling a break-in that went terribly wrong. Donna Bakaitis said Goad used a hacksaw to cut into a live 4,160-volt foundry wire early Thursday morning.

So what do you think about this? Do you support her answer. To me, he was stealing regardless...

I talked to my recruiter and he said there would not be any problems and I would not need a GED, or high school diploma.

However after I went in and took the EAST test? ( Not sure if thats what it was...)
and scored well above average, he is saying I'll need some proof of an education (Home school diploma??)

I'll be 19 in a few months and I thought I heard something about not needing any proof at that age?

Excuse my ignorance if I'm wrong...
I would like to serve, but I can't see why I would be discriminated at for the simple fact that I'm home schooled.

Granted Al Gore is the most visible public figure talking about global warming, and he has a history as a liberal politician. But forget Al Gore.

"Schwarzenegger, Sarkozy Talk Politics, Global Warming...Both pledged to work together on ways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions."

Schwarzenegger is a Republican, Sarkozy is the recently elected conservative French president.

"My message, I think, is that the evidence is sufficient that we should move toward the most effective possible steps to reduce carbon loading in the atmosphere," Gingrich replied.

"We are convinced that the overwhelming scientific evidence indicated that climate change is taking place and human activities play a very large role,'' McCain said.

Since 2005 even Bush has said humans are causing global warming.

What right do you have to gripe about people comming back "illegaly" to what was their land before it was stolen from them illegaly?

Why do you act like crossing over a man made line in the dirt (which doesn't belong to man in the firstplace) is so much worse than was done to the indians when america was stolen from them?

How is this allowed to happen as if I were caught driving around without displaying my tax disc I would be in deep mire with the police?.

The truth about him is slowly showing.. but How much Longer till Something gets done about HIM and Saving Our Troops that apperantly aren't Worth the extra .5% Pay Raise.

Bush 'Strongly Opposes' Troop Pay, Benefit Initiatives
Talk about lousy timing.

With President Bush’s popularity scraping bottom in opinion polls, with U.S. casualties rising in Iraq in a force surge that has stretched soldier tours to 15 months, the Bush administration July 10 said it “strongly opposes” key military pay and benefit gains tossed into their fiscal 2008 defense bill. Initiatives the administration “strongly opposes” include:-- A military pay raise for next January of 3.5 percent versus 3 percent endorsed by the White House.
