Almost everynight now, I turn on the TV to find some special interest group, Democratic Presidential canditate, or some other liberal whining about how bad things are in this country and how our Social Programs aren't working need reformed and how the American people want change.

Which party vows to be the advocate for the poor and deprived and the minorities EVERY election?

Which party promises change to bring relieve to those who suffer most in this country year after year since the Great Depression?

Which party designed, lobbied for, implemented, and is most active in overseeing programs like Welfare, EPA, Social Security, etc...?

Which party has offered the most empty promises?

Kind of ironic isn't it?

Prescott Bush, the president's grandfather. According to classified documents from Dutch intelligence and US government archives, President George W. Bush's grandfather, Prescott Bush made considerable profits off Auschwitz slave labor. In fact, President Bush himself is an heir to these profits from the holocaust which were placed in a blind trust in 1980 by his father, former president George Herbert Walker Bush.

On the 20th of October, the government commenced action against the company under the trading with the enemy act.

After the seizures in late 1942 of five U.S. enterprises he managed on behalf of Nazi industrialist Fritz Thyssen failed to divest himself of more than a dozen "enemy national" relationships that continued until as late as 1951, newly-discovered U.S. government documents reveal.

AMERICA's ARMY SOUNDS COOLER! AMERICA FLOWS, U.S. sounds like ABC when your saying it.
It shouldn't be United States Army, it should be UNited States "Of" America's Army. And then to make it shorter name the U.S. Army "AAA" Or America's Army just like the video game.

Which sounds better?

It seems to me that we were once a more respectful nation with everything closed on Sundays and the tolerance for each other and our different religions was more visible in every day life.

Kids were more repectful, crime was not as common and there seemed to be more tranquility and peace in our every day lives.

Now we have everything open Sundays. Church seems to be something families avoid and I think that the separation of Church and State to the degree we have done has caused us to loose our Moral Compass.

Do you agree or disagree and what can be done to get our Country back on track?

The Republicans are in self-destruct mode. The vast majority of the American public are against them, Bush and Cheney have incredibly low approval ratings, and they are doing it without any outside help!

The November election results did not wake King George from his reverie. Democrats took back control of both the house and the senate and still he pours $12 billion a month into someone else's civil war.

In two more months time the Republicans will destroy their reelection chances for 2008! Let's let them! Pull back a little and watch the show!

This is a debacle that the Republican party will have a hard time recovering from, if they even do recover; it's delicious to watch.

"Both houses of Congress voted for 23 writs authorizing the war with Iraq—a post-9/11 confirmation of the official policy of regime change in Iraq that President Clinton originated. Supporters of the war included 70 percent of the American public in April 2003; the majority of NATO members; a coalition with more participants than the United Nations alliance had in the Korean War; and a host of politicians and pundits as diverse as Joe Biden, William F. Buckley, Wesley Clark, Hillary Clinton, Francis Fukuyama, Kenneth Pollack, Harry Reid, Andrew Sullivan, Thomas Friedman, and George Will." (NYTimes, 12 Jul 2007, VD Hanson)

Can former President Bill Clinton speak to the fact that it was his administration that initiated the regime change policy for Saddam Hussein's Iraq?

I should have added (first time user) that I just had a civil case thrown out of court in Arizona. The Plaintiff's counsel filed a motion to dismiss stating my complaint failed to state a claim for which relief can be granted. My attorney filed a response trying to convert the motion to dismiss to a summary judgement.

The judge agreed that no claim for relief was stated in the complaint and that my attorney couldn't rely on simply attaching an exhibit to his response to convert the motion to dismiss to a motion for summary judgement. He needed to include facts to support his request.

I am going to file a complaint with the Bar against him but I don't know what a complaint really should look like since I've never sued anyone before. That's why I'm asking.

I, like probably many other females, am sexually intimidated/taunted (shall we say) by men everyday from their cars, on the street. Sometimes it gets a little scary. I live in a big city and carry, at least one of two weapons when I'm out alone--yup, I am fully aware I'm a little paranoid here :0).

Anyway, I've always wondered what would happen if one these guys tried to grab me into their car or try and cart me away, but before anything could happen to me, I instinctively spray the guy with my mase or cut them....and end up blinding them or, gawd forbid, killing them.

Would I go to jail if there was just intent on their part before I was harmed in the encounter? Is this a clear case of self defence?

For all you law experts, this might be a ridiculous question. So, could you please share your wisdom....without pointing out my, uhhhh, obvious lack of knowledge in this area?

Sorry this question ended up being so darned long...

This was on the news last night .... This sick asshole kidnapped a 12 year old from her front yard on July 4, raped her, murdered her and then dropped her off near her home. He had kept her until yesterday. Not only that, he's an illegal from Taiwan and he's a level 1 sex offender who didn't register with the local p.d. when he arrived in town.
