Every country but america {USA} has it? why not us if we are so great?

I wish he would run as President in '08, but his family is afraid he might get assassinated because he is black. He would have my vote if he did run. He is an Vietnam veteran and was a top general, he is African-American, which would settle the race problem, he has brains, he is a moderate Republican, and has shown his willingness to be neutral, and he advised Bush not to invade Iraq and to concentrate defeating the real terrorists in Afghanistan, but Bush ignored him, and look where we are now. One top military leader said the War on Terror would have been successful had we taken Powell's advice.

the presidency. He is white, rich and protestant, and not very bright. Is that the face of the Republican Party? Is that all it takes? Oh, I almost forgot. He did his flight training on an obsolete jet that would never see service in Vietnam. He bugged out of going to war. I didn't, nor did the men I fought with who are no longer among the living.

When we no longer have much of a choice because everything is owned by mega corps does capitalism still exist?

If you think about it, the Democrat Party was hijacked by the communists then the socialists in the tenure of FDR, and the Republican Party was hijacked by corporations during the tenure of Reagan. I am sick of both parties and I laugh at the many people who still believe either party is great when both parties are a joke and so are the jokes running for President from those parties in 2008. I am voting for Ron Paul and I don't care if he wins or not as he is better than the other loons running. I like non-corporate and patriotic Americans, not the traitors and corporate puppets that are the mainstream candidates,

I know that in the United States, a civilian woman has the right not to put the father on the birth certificate - but do the same rights apply to a single mother in the military? I have a friend in the military who is pregnant and unsure and doesn't want to go to chain of command just yet....

For all those who once supported warrantless wiretapping and asked that question if their defense, I ask you the same. Seems Bush is blocking former aide Sara Taylor from testifying.

I don't see why so many people think one of the laziest senators and one of the biggest jokes to run as President in the history of the United States is the next best thing besides sliced bread. His ties to Mau Mau terrorists in Kenya raise a couple of eyebrows and he is plain inexperienced.

I heard many stories about online schools: "they are good, they are bad, they are accredited, yes, they count, no they dont count"...regardless of what is said about the online schools, how do employers or big corporations carry it out when hiring someone with an online degree? do they count? has actually anyone graduated from an online school and gotten a job?....

I asked a business owner about this...and his reply was:

"Yeah, by all the other suckers who paid their money to get a quick and easy degree for little or no effort. But, if you came to my office to apply for a job with one of those "degrees", I'd call the janitor to sweep you and you useless paper work OUT of my building. God Bless you"....

what do you think??

Are a great number of these just lazy and want to give off the public largess?

I believe I can handle my money much more effectively than the government can. The government really should not have a role in every facet of our lives.

Our government cannot account for millions of weapons missing in Iraq, many of which were given to Iraq. Today, I read on the internet that the government of Iraq states that if we leave, a civil war will result, and that we have a "responsiblity" to stay. They insist we must stay until their policemen are "trained." Iraq is already in a Civil War, and we have no responsiblity to let their sectarian violence kill of more Americans. Our soldiers get only months of training, and not years of training like we have been giving to the Iraqi police. Would it be more sensible to withdraw our troops to the borders of Iraq or to certain bases outside of the cities and let the Iraqi government know they must solve their political differences, and that the solution is not to kill American soldiers?
