I'm confused. I thought that the whole point of electing a government was that the elected government was the party in power. Yet it seems that most political matters are delegated not just by the government, but by parliament as a whole.

If the Conservative and Liberal Democrat (and other) parties are not in power, why do they have a say in the House of Commons?

Leaving alone the rest of the Media. There is no equal time on PBS and the rest. The Liberals are boycotting Fox and trying to take Fox down. Mrs Edwards seeks to deny Ann Coulter a Forum, So would you conclude that the Liberals believe they are the only prople who have the constitutional right to speech?
Trent Lott and Goober Graham will be taken care of.

In Panama City, the Sheriff's dept pulls up to a construction site with loads of cars, and surround it. Anyone that runs is chased down and arrest for trespassing across private property, or loitering in they try and hide in the bushes. Then they run all the names through the Immigration service, and deport the illegals. Why does every police force in the country not do this? Its cheap and easy. Maybe we can get a bunch of Illegals deported before Bush and his liberal buddies give them all amnesty?

Looking at where this group is now (Palestine, Illinois, on the Indiana border) there's a possibility they may be coming through here this weekend to picket the funeral of a local fallen soldier. I have no connection with this soldier or his family, but I am grateful for his sacrifice.

If you were me, would you go to this soldier's visitation/wake?

If the WBC goons show up, what would be an appropriate response?

Is there an active protest group that watches the WBC and tries to block them from doing their stuff?

This is really hard to say, so try to interpret it as best you can.

I think people buy hype and excitement too easily. For example WWE (fake wrestling), sex, Nascar, celebrities, being a democrat. It's unnatural the way things are done. People dont focus on their needs anymore, and the world has suffered for it. What do you think?

I then assume you think the 3 Republicans who were visiting during the exact same time should also be charged with treason?

"It's interesting because three of our colleagues, who are all Republicans, were in Syria yesterday and I didn't hear the White House speaking out about that," Pelosi said, referring to the meeting that Representatives Frank Wolf, Joe Pitts, and Robert Aderholt had with Syrian President Bashar Assad in Damascus on Sunday.

Private industry (fed-ex, etc) took over the mail industry 40 years ago and the nation does not NEED a US Post office but, the US "does need" many other things like health care or a US television network to eliminate the need to take lobbyist money and fed the corruption for those running for office. Whatcha think?

dental offices typically work a 4 day work week. my husband in order to get custody of the children, set me up with drugs. therefore, dismissing his 4 domestic violence charges against him, (stating i was no longer a creditable witness) and receiving custody of my babies ages 3 and 23 months. we settled the case in mediation, the guardian ad litem was recommending he get custody because of my arrest. i now have to take weekly drug test, pay for a supervising service to supervise my 3 hour weekly visitation with my children, drug counseling 2 x month for at least the next 3 years and pay him $970.00 child support a month!! i only made $16.00 hr (32 hr/wk) and she told me in mediation that "i didnt need just one job, i needed a part time job for fri and sat". I am a professional, Why should i have to work two jobs just to pay more child support? he lives with mom, no bills, and is a pipe foreman making $20/hr. Why? When i was the one abused & hes the one on meth? im in Cobb Co. Ga.

I was pulled over for defective equipment (brake light), but when the officer ran may plates, he found out my tags were expired. And BEFORE giving me my ticket to sign he said "I'm going to let you slide on the brake light, since the tags are more important" After he gave me the ticket I noticed I had two charges, expired tags and defective equipment. The jerk charched me anyway. My boyfriend was in the car too, so I have a witness to what he told me.

We have spent millions of dollars in Iraq to "help" that country. Why not help our neighbor and then Mexicans would not need to immigrate to the US. Then who will do the harvesting in the US?

The Home Depot is tired of being forced by local governments to accommodate the day laborers who turn up in its store parking lots seeking construction work. So the Georgia-based company turned to Congress for help.

I think it is insane that we try and appease criminals at all.

Every one of these poor hard working looking for a better life illegals is STEALING a job from an American.

The Americans that hire them, I just can't think of enough BAD things to say to these traitors, they would have been marched to the gallows years back.

why does the media only ask the military leadership about what the soldiers think about being in iraq? i know from experience, iraq 2004-2005, that if they would ask the soldiers if the occupation is worth the loss of lives they would get a different answer. if they had asked the guys in my unit i can honestly say that the majority would have said, being over there is a joke! and that there is no justification for being there. we went there because we lost 2000 plus lives in the 911 attacks, this is true, but we have lost a great deal more while being there, is it worth it? and why? and please no crap about fighting for our freedom, because i wasnt fighting for the freedom of the american people when i was there.
