Ok, let's say a police officer, is in a car chase and is attempting to pull the driver over, however the driver does not cooperate and this results in a high speed chase,.....

Is a police officer allowed to stick his gun out his window and try to shoot the tires of the suspects car in order to make him stop ?

the baby boomer group gets older and have babies that also support social security eventually? So that employers can continue to discriminate against older americans who want to work, but are not hired due to age discrimination or health discrimination (so that the employers' group health insurance premiums will not go up?).... I always thought that as the baby boomers got older, discrimination in the workforce would have to stop so that social security could stay afloat, but now it looks like the "system" has found a way around that...so that discrimination against older and workers with major health problems can continue? Thoughts?

Regardless of whether you are liberal or conservative, shouldn't you have at least a little bit of humanity and compassion?

I am amazed and apalled at the number of "questions," comments and answers on here supporting Ann Coulter and her heartless attack on Elizabeth Edwards and her family. Attacking her husband's politics is fair game. Mocking the death of her son is not.

Coulter has a right to free speech, but no one has an obligation to listen to, let alone agree with her and even support her when she utters such despicable hate speech.

She is a cruel, sorry excuse for a human being with no decency or humanity. Right-wing, Left-wing, everyone should realize that. It is a sad, sad, and frightening statement about society that so many do not.

Ted Turner, Bono, Angelina Jolie, Brat Pitt, Maurice Strong, etc. Why do Globalist institutions, which were founded and are funded by international bankers and transnational corporations, DEMAND that the working poor of America pay to end Third World poverty when they have all the money. The Rothschild international banking dynasty alone has, collectively, assets worth upwards of the equivalent of 400 TRILLION dollars! America's net worth is only 7 trillion and the Rothschild-own Federal Reserve Bank confirmed last year that America is currently 50 trillion in debt. A 12-yr. old girl pulled a knife on my friend (not actually a knife, but sheetrock cutters), trying to slit her throat, & my friend called the police, so the girl started charging more, & my friend started fist-fighting back in self-defense, in order to protect her throat from being slit.

In this case, is it right to fight a child or was she still wrong? The police took FOREVER to come on the scene, & then when they did come, they put the little girl in jail & let my friend go (I'm SO thankful & glad that they let her go), BUT ONLY because the officer was flirting @ her & she flirted back. Was this fair?

I know someone who writes a blog that analyzes various companies in a certain field, and writes on their business practices in his blog.
Several months ago he had posted some information, which he later learned to be false, about a company. He did not post this information with any malicious intent.
Within a few days of searching, he found out that this information was incorrect, and immediately retracted his earlier statement, and apologized. He has since made it clear in several posts that the information contained in that posting was false.
So far he has yet to hear from that company, but he's very concerned that he could be sued for libel or defamation.
(The false statements he posted weren't actually very damaging to the company; they just contained incorrect data that could have reflected poorly on the company. This kind of thing happens to reporters periodically and they usually don't get sued.) Should he be worried? What else could he do about this?

Do they discriminate against older workers there like they do in the U.S?....so that you can't get health insurance and raise the company premiums? Would you pay two sets of income taxes if U.S. dual citizenship? What about real estate or sales taxes there?
