In the USA it is illegal to Monopolise. So why is it that grocery stores are allowed to sell their own name brand items in their owns stores? For example, Vons would sell Vons branded bottled water, coffee, bread, etc.

I seriously don't believe this "woman" thinks when she talks.

"I think [women] should be armed but should not vote...women have no capacity to understand how money is earned. They have a lot of ideas on how to spend it...it's always more money on education, more money on child care, more money on day care. "- Ann Coulter

or

"[Canadians] better hope the United States does not roll over one night and crush them. They are lucky we allow them to exist on the same continent. "

Is there a point? I mean, who says that? Thank you.

OJ sawed his wife's neck with an unregistered kitchen knife and Jon Benet was strangled with an unregistered ligature.

Accidental deaths? More deaths annually from accidental drownings than accidental shootings.

Perhaps we should ban water?

No, I'm not baiting and I am a conservative. But I am constantly in wonder that true conservatives support this party that has stabbed us in the back, sacrificed our sovereignty and just plain doesn't listen to it's constituency. I am amazed. Is it because no one feels there is another viable party?

You gotta admit the Bushies have a knack for turning a phrase. Mission accomplished, cut & run, We'll stand down when the Iraqis stand up, fight them there so we don't have to fight them here, etc. What goodie will they come up with in September that will reassure conservatives...

A day after conservative commentator Ann Coulter said she wished Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards had been killed by terrorists, his wife asked her to stop the personal attacks.

Elizabeth Edwards called the MSNBC program "Hardball with Chris Matthews" Tuesday during an appearance by Coulter, who claimed Edwards was calling on her to stop speaking altogether. And she questioned why Elizabeth Edwards was making a phone call on behalf of her husband.

While appearing on ABC's "Good Morning America," Coulter was asked about a March speech in which she used a gay slur to refer to Edwards, adding that if she was going to say anything about John Edwards in the future, she'll just wish he had been killed in a terrorist assassination plot.

I really cannot stand Ann Coulter, and its people like her that really give the conservatives (who I agree with some of their ideals) a really weak base. She may be offensive for entertaining purposes and that is fine but hate speech?

I know I don't...It is not fair to force someone to fight in a war if they do not agree with it. Then say well you live here, so fight for the country; what if they wish not to live in the country but cannot leave because they do not have the money to or leave when the draft comes and get arrested for supposedly 'avoiding the draft.'

What if you just do not want to fight in the war? I would most definately opt out.

I think that any sort of draft should only come into play if America were to be directly attacked (invasion), otherwise it is not necissary if one disagrees with the purpose of the specific war in place. It is not right to force a war onto it's people. I would consider this type of event as an indirect suppression.

What are your current beliefs of the "Draft?"
