The one of the proudest days of my life was when I turned 18 and voted for the first time. I continue to vote but it seems meaningless.....does any one else feel like this.....is the corrupt two party system able to be fixed?

we have never lived this degree,43( we feel it over 50). 3 people were died in Turkey, and 19 people were died in Romenia. the weather report says, it will continue. Demand of air condition has increased, and there is no enough supply of air condition. Also, because of air condition, there has begun scarce of electricity.
my question: instead of wars, we have to solve Global warming.?

Go to Iraq and go on patrol with the troops to see how it is first hand? Disappear to a deserted Pacific island? Go live in a cave like Bin Laden? give up and retire to his Texas ranch? or be a man about it and admit that he is an ignoramus and was never fit to be president and it has been Cheney all along who has been making the decisions

Have you heard of this bill going through the senate that will grant all illegals a "Z-Visa"? Do you support it or not? I think it is a good idea, b/c by making all the illegals in the US legal, then we can put more focus and manpower into keeping them from crossing the border. How can we solve the problem of illegals if we are trying to fight it on two different battle fields, neither one making any headway. How do you feel about this Bill? Do you like it, dislike it?

Here's a news report from the Turkish press;

They're chanting "Ahmadinjad must be killed." Why do we want to go to war against a country that is rational enough to see through Socialist nonsense.

The Iranians even hated the Michael Moore movie Fahrenheit 9/11 because it was anti-American.

These people are not our enemies. They are our friends. Why can't Bush come to his senses and realize this.

Ahmadinjad doesn't represent the Iranian people any more than Bush represents the American people or Tony Bliar represents the British.

The reason a person's debt is bad is because that person dies and don't want his kids to have to pay it. A country doesn't die so we can live forever with debt. Debt also devalues our dollar, while to much of this is bad, some devaluing is good because it makes our goods and services cheeper for other countries to buy thereby causing demand that would not have been there. We(America) sells t-bonds to foreginors to pay for this debt. These foreginors then have a stake in America and don't want to see us blown up. This are good things about debt. It also slows the growth of the government, which I like!! And for the record hippies, Clinton inherited a growing economy and handed off a declining economy. The reason he inherited a growing economy was from the tax cuts of the two previous prezs.

I think it's funny when all you communist suddenly become conservatives when we have debt.

For the record I don't like bush. He's not a conservative. He's a big government hippie too.

A world wide survey was conducted by the UN. The only question asked was:
"Would you please give your honest opinion about solutions to the food shortage in the rest of the world?"

The survey was a huge failure..........

In africa they did'nt know what"food"meant.

In Eastern Europe they did'nt know what"honest"meant.

In Western Europe they did'nt know what"shortage" meant.

In China they did'nt know what"opinion"meant.

In the middle east they did'nt know what"solution"meant.

In south america they did'nt know what"please"meant.

And in The USA they did'nt know what "the rest of the world meant.

my boyfriend left for bootcamp over a month ago. within the first week i got a letter, and the second week i got his address, and the third week, i got two letters. the first one, he hadn't received my letter back yet, and then he wrote again and said he was so happy to hear from me and he wanted to be more serious about our relationship. i wrote him a really long letter back with even his favorite show, and i haven't heard back from 2 weeks ago. i know he's written home a few times since. is there some reason why even if he's busy, he couldn't write a quick note and say he won't be able to write much, or in his parents letter home to tell them to tell me he can't write much to me? i understand he's busy, but it doesnt' make sense that he was writing so much and telling to please write him, and then he just stopped?

I have come into your country illegally. But I am poor and tired, and need your help. I have a family to take care of, and can get no help from my government. Forgive me for coming here the wrong way, but I could not wait. My wife, children and elderly parents were suffering. I love this country and although my homeland will always be in my heart, I consider America my new home, and will do whatever I have to do to make you see that I really want to be a part of your nation. I want to learn English, I want to vote someday, I want my family to have a better life. Thank you.
Or: This was my land before it was yours, I'll take what I want.
You people owe me. I will not learn your language. Why should I? I will steal anothers identity if necessary. I have more rights than you. The white man soon will be extinct. I will raise my countries flag over yours. You have no choice.

(a) 1.7 Billion tax dollars went to a no bid contract given to Halliburton -- {no bid contracts are illegal by the way }Dick Cheney's former company.
(b) $12,000,000,000 in cash was flown to Iraq using military C-130 planes. 363 tons of shrink wrapped $100 were flown there. BTW no one knows where the money is or if it was spent on the right things.
(c) This is according to a Government Accountability Office report released February 13, 2006.[1] "The Administration spent $1.6 billion on contracts with advertising agencies ($1.4 billion), public relations firms ($197 million), and media organizations and individual members of the media ($15 million)."[2] Gullible taxpayers are inadvertently paying the price of their own deception

There is of course more but it's both depresses and angers me to continue.
