Didn't enough Powell once say that the streets would run red with the blood of immigrants?- well we'd better hope he was wrong because even though xenophobes think its bad to have immigrants living in the UK. its not!.

The problem is the population is ageing and there are not enough young people to replace the ones who are coming upto pension age.

I think its entirely necessary that we have immigration and allow people to come here work and pay taxes which helps the economy to stay stable.

The country is riding on a mountain of debt at the moment, if the economic circumstances where to change which is likely if immigration were curtailed the whole structure of our society could crumble into anarchy due to financial melt down which would follow - whether civil war would follow is anyones guess!.

History has shown that there can be a civil war even between people sharing the same race, culture and religion example America. Then let us take the example of Spain in 1936, which is recent history. If you go further back there are numerous examples when people of same race and religion fought bloody battles with each other. There is a very different kind of segregation in society that has gone very unnoticed until now and that is the economic divide. This divide is more dangerous for Britain. And to be realistic this has caused civil wars in many countries.

I totallt agree with some of the posters on here. I am british, but haven't lived there for two years, however, we have opened our doors to pretty much everyone now. Its getting bad, and I saw a news item the other day that said the ratio is 50:50 now as in, 50 percent British Natives, 50 percent EVERYTHING else.I think its disgusting that just about anybody can come and live in the country, sponge off of the government (yep thats taxpayers hard earned money), be given housing FIRST over british people (because we gotta help the poor and needy right, even though there are plenty of british people who are poor and needy), and then, once they get their monthly handout from the government, proceed to go out and steal from people (obviously britain isn't giving them quite enough money already) and commit crimes . Shouldn't britain be taking care of its own homeless people before it helps out the rest of the world? its getting to the point now where britain won't actually have any british people in it anymore. The Americans have the right idea, they make it damn hard to get a green card to live there and work there, why is britain not doing the same thing? As for a civil war, I don't believe there will be one. Yeah sure, people will keep offing people in record numbers,and its gonna increase, but thats to be expected if we let every tom, dick and harry in. Where there are many different cultures there will always be crime, because people just can't seem to get along, and accept other people. Britain should have 'MUG' stamped across it.

It is ironic that the liberal PC brigade and the "poor Muslim ethnics" are actually playing into the hands of the BNP (well at least they will be when it gets rid of Griffiths and appoints someone with a basic education). What will more likely happen is a continuation of segregation in our cities. It baffles me that people still would rather defend ALL Muslim's, even after the London bombings and their admittance that they despise this country, then their own countryman. No. The only threat to our democracy might come when you BNP types realise that the British people hate you and will never elect a single MP from your nasty little party. If at that point you renounce democracy and turn to other means (as your predecessors in the National Front tried to), then I can see some ugly scenes.

But do remember, there's far more people loathe the BNP than support it and your violence and intimidation will never win.
