Jews have had a continual presence in Jerusalem since the 1200's. Naturally the Holocaust led to further immigration of Jews to Israel, but the British (through the League of Nations British Mandate of Palestine) issued the White Paper of 1939 to limit the number of Jews that could immigrate to Israel. The British did this to appease the Arabs, but to little avail.
Finally tiring of the Arab-Jewish violence the British abandoned the Palestine Mandate in 1947. Arab and Jewish attacks on each other and British personnel and installations led to the war-weary withdraw of the British Administration.
The State of Israel was proclaimed on May 14, 1948.
Following the State of Israel's establishment, the armies of Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon declared war on Israel and began the second phase of the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. The Jews more or less (losing land in a few areas and gaining in others) held off the numerically superior Arab forces until a UN declared cease fire brought an end to hostilities. The war caused most Jews already living in the aggressive Arab countries to side with and immigrate to Israel therefore increasing the Jewish population in Israel.
Therefore it can be argued that the failed Arab aggression caused the Jewish resolve to be galvanized and Jewish power to be consolidated in Israel leading to the legitimacy of the State.

The best evidence I can give you that Israel has the right to exist is this:
Israel does exist.
Until someone or something comes along and eliminates that right to exist, they will continue to have that right. The same is true for any other Country on Earth.
Should Israel be erased from the Earth?
One day in the future, maybe 100 years or maybe 5000 years from now, Israel will be erased from the Earth. That is true for every country also.
Who would Muslims erase next?
They probably wouldn't make it past Israel. If they did, though, next they would go after Spain and/or Greece, to start spreading into Europe, and to have control of the Mediterranean Sea.

Yes, Israel has the right to exist.
UN General Assembly Resolution 181 created the states of Israel and Palestine.
I would not say that Muslims want to erase Israel from the map, but some certainly do. If they did succeed with Israel, there is a good chance they would start fighting each other for different lands in the Middle East.

Everyone has a right to exist. Even the ones who make it their life's work to convince people otherwise. As for the second part of your question, those Muslims will attempt to erase any and all non Muslims states, so we're all next.

Israel has the right to exist. But they do have a responsibility to be a part of the middle east. They have to recognize that others also have a right to exist. They have social issues also. I was happy to see that they did give some humanitarian supplies to Gaza after the fighting. Good step until they then invaded the area.
My solution to some of the conflict is to move the UN headquarters to Jerusalem. Have the UN own the town since it is the center of three religions. It would also put more emphasis on security as we would have every country with people there.

Apparently the Muslim extremists would like to see all none Muslims erased. As for Israel, for all the holy people that are suppose to be living there the is a lot of death and violence maybe it is time to pack it in.

Unfortunately I must disagree...but not for the reasons you might think.
People have the right to exist; countries do not. A country is an abstract entity, a social construct that people create to facilitate certain aspects of life.
That being said...the State of Israel exists. If you don't like it, then tough--get over it.

Israel has the RIGHT TO EXIST like every other country, but U.S and Europe DIDN'T have the RIGHT to take away Palestine land and give it to Israel.
Muslims don't have right to erase any one, and it's not Muslims but it's the radical Muslims. So in America the Radical Muslims are like Radical Christians. Ku Klux Klan and etc...
So you really can't say muslims want to erase Israel... only the radical ones.
Did u also know Jihad means protector of Muslims not killer of innoncent ppl. These ppl have been brain washed and are very easy to be persuaded, so they aren't the smartest ppl.

Israel has right to exist - but the Zionist Imperialist Supremacists like Likud and their neocon "Likud Firsters" in Washington D.C. and the media should be made act like civilized human beings or else answer for their crimes.
