The Home Depot is tired of being forced by local governments to accommodate the day laborers who turn up in its store parking lots seeking construction work. So the Georgia-based company turned to Congress for help.

I think it is insane that we try and appease criminals at all.

Every one of these poor hard working looking for a better life illegals is STEALING a job from an American.

The Americans that hire them, I just can't think of enough BAD things to say to these traitors, they would have been marched to the gallows years back.

Make sure you read this article, this company was forced to build temp buildings, bathrooms, etc, forced by illegals that are not supposed to be here.

Who can find out who was responsible for forcing a company to appease criminals.

They will never hear the end of this if I find out.

Hey Rabid Frog: It is a cryin shame, we have got to make some noise about this even support letters to Home Depot. I mean a company trying to do the RIGHT thing being held responsible, they had every right to call the law and have those criminals arrested.

Shawty1isback: ICE did not process 12 - 15 million mexicans into the USA in the last 5 years.

IT IS OBVIOUS, IF YOU ARE NOT BLIND.

By the way we should be questioning ANY PAPERWORK from Hispanics as the id fraud stemming from illegal immigration is reaching astronomical proportions.

Illegals did not force the construction of the hiring center, it was the city that required it realizing Home Depot attracts day laborers and not wanting to fund the construction out of taxpayer money they required Home Depot build it as a condition of building there store there. Now Home Depot had the choice to build there or not knowing ahead of time that they had to meet the hiring center construction. They chose to do it so they must be planning on making the money back in sales.

Ya know what, Home Depot is full of goobers. Why would you hire a criminal!? Some of them do not speak english! Home Depot needs a good chewin out, they need to learn that what they do by hiring illegals is illegal, and that they are making their country more miserable! Home Depot is a bunch of traitors to the U.S.A. my family doesn't shop there either. I have a link for you. Watch these videos, this one guy went down to a home depot in california, and taped these videos of illegal immigrants outside Home Depot looking for a job.

Mountain View, CA. is considering a proposal to require Home Depot to pay $250,000 toward a permanent day labor center and to establish an educational outreach program for workers and contractors before building a store there. The city of Burbank required the company to build a similar hiring center at its store that opened last year and to provide the city with $94,000 to cover the costs of additional services.

This is ridiculous, what next we build shelters and bath rooms for the hookers working the streets ?
They are criminals first and foremost. The only thing they deserve is to be arrested and deported not given any more free rides. I hope Congress stops city's from committing yet another fraud on the US ..

I can't believe Home Depot would be required to build shelters for illegal immigrants or anybody isn't that up to the individual owner? Maybe I didn't read that right, I hope the government reimbursed them the expense they were out building the shelters and bathrooms...... Where are the rights of the "citizen" business owners??

Yes I do think Home Depot did the right thing..... that's bad for business..

Edit: "Others say the home improvement companies do have a responsibility to maintain safety and prevent nuisances among the labor markets they attract. Besides, they say, it isn't Washington's business"

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME, THEY ARE A HOME IMPROVEMENT STORE, THEY SELL THINGS!.... The market they attract should be people or builders doing home improvement or building... Sometimes you have to re-read to get the whole ridicules story...

Unbelievable Edit: "Mountain View is considering a proposal to require Home Depot to pay $250,000 toward a permanent day labor center and to establish an educational outreach program for workers and contractors before building a store there. The city of Burbank required the company to build a similar hiring center at its store that opened last year and to provide the city with $94,000 to cover the costs of additional services".

That's too unreal, I can't believe my eyes....

They have to do something. Any move would be the right move when you're backed against a corner like that. There's alot being exposed on tv now...proof of what we've been saying about hiring immigrants and illegals over American laborers so upper working class and middle class can live the high life at our expense.

Home Depot should only utilize legal citizens and immigrants. No one should "force" a company to hire illegal aliens or create jobs for them or provide any benefit to them. Those local governments should be sued by Home Depot.

I hope that Congress helps out home depot, but they are active in helping illegal aliens and are buddies with La Raza, so they should be boycotted. Some people are already boycotting Home Depot because of their relationship with La Raza. Check out the site below.

I wasnt aware that city councils in some areas had been forcing home depot to build shelters and provide bathroom facilities and all that. thats ridiculous.

I had just not done business with home depot for awhile now becuase I was tired of seeing it and I was going to other home improvement businesses instead.

Definitely I hope they get some support on this.

I'm waiting for someone to really put together a comprehensive boycott of all of these big buisnesses that are selling out Americans. There has GOT to be a way all of us that are against this Bill and all that it stands for can hurt them where it's hurting us the most, and that is, in our pockets, that are already stretched as far as they can go!! If we could all just collectively STOP giving them our business for a certain length of time, and show them that they NEED us more than we NEED them. I wish that could happen.
