History will see a PM who bought 4 houses while in office, spent the last years of his premiership looking for a job. Invaded a country on a lie, sold us down the river to the EU. 10 % of the people living here not born here(and there the legal ones) yes I think he as sold us out.

Claire D, that is exactly what a certain M Thatcher said for all those years and proved it. Guess you did not realise you were quoting the beliefs of that dreaded Mrs Thatcher. Now that I've told you, you may want to change your answer.
No I don't believe Tony Blair set out to line his own pocket, and I do believe his aim was a better Britain. Only he just did not have what it takes to achieve it. I give him credit though for trying and believing in it. Even though he ended socialism in the Uk and adopted and followed M Thatchers policies of free trade and de-nationalisation. Thing is Tony Blair was the worst Conservative Prime Minister we ever had.Don't forget that he publically said that M Thatcher was his hero and he tried to copy her style. Guess he failed. He just was never man enough to be Mrs Thatcher.
Edit:- Pavlina go back to communist Russia you silly little girl.
Edit:- Claire D, hmm, read my answer again, maybe more slowly this time. I totally agree with you. I am MT's greatest fan. Just not used to reading anyone condoning her policies these days, mostly they don't realise they are doing it. The unions stuffed our country and she stuffed them, couldn't do it quick enough for me.

Blair and Brown are the Bank of England...Enough said. The crippling has been a financial one, and is not purely down to immigration, if that's what you mean by 'invaded'...it's just a very small part of the picture, the biggest being the billions made out of the immoral property market...

How exactly are we crippled? I'm not, it's down to your own good self to drag yourself out of the gutter if that's where you are, not Mr.Blair. My kids are doing well at school, I use NHS services regularly without complaint and I love my country. I'm proud of it, and the problems we have pale into insignificance when you look at some other nations. If you don't like it, no-one's keeping you here......
And his pockets lined? He deserves his success for doing one of the hardest jobs ever. I wouldn't want to do it, would you?
(edit: and no, I am not changing my answer, trouble, because if M Thatcher hadn't done what she did, we'd be under control of unions in this country and you'd be complaining even more. I stand by my previous comments.)

Blair, Brown and the Banks are bleeding the country dry.
No longer is there any National interest its been replaced by self interest.
They have had the Nations shirt knowing that apathy ensures they can get away with it.
