Pledge of Allegiance Question?

Okay heres a question that I'd like to here back on from immigrants as well as americans. What is your opinion on saying the pledge of allegiance in schools. I use to stand for it when I was younger but stopped because I feel that standing and half assing my way through a poem about a flag and God really has to bearing on the fact that I am or am not patriotic. What do you think?

Please refrain from xenophobic comments. I am a patriotic person and have duel citizenship. I applied for my American citizenship on my own and did not receive it after a parent.

Why are parents so against underage drinking when they(you) know when you were kids you drank before......?

Why are parents so against underage drinking when they(you) know when you were kids you drank before it was legal? I dont know why parents have to give kids that do it responsibly such a hard time when they know as kids they partied too......

How much jail time for stealing clothes?

My original question is what is the ballpark jail time for someone who gets caught stealing clothes and doesn't pay the fine? Also wondering if there is a website listing various offenses and jail times for those offenses.

Arson - clothes dryer fire?

Is there a place - I'll make this up - The Center For Arson Research - maybe sponsored by insurance companies - where you can go to inquire whether your tenants have had - for example - clothes dryer fires - at prior residences.
I am evicting some bad actors and right at the end my house was on fire due to a clothes dryer fire. I am suspicious.

Do you think the people of Iraq want US there or not-I heard a man from Iraq said S.Hus was better back then?

This was a call on Washington Journal from a distraught man who was from Iraq who was displeased with the consequences of the present even as compared to the past regime. It seemed sad especially considering the growing count of the enemy.

How do you get the title of Intellectual?

Do you get it by being a C student at Yale, by this I am not referring to GW, but the "intellectual" Johann Kerry. Do you just write a book filled with outlandish statements that no one really takes seriously.
