LOL is this the funny of the day??? There are people from both sides of the fence who are smart enough to realize they don't know everything. There are also the people from both sides who think they know it all.
Most people realize that politics have so many shades of gray and it more which side holds the issues that's most important to them they wins their vote.
No the latter can describe people from either party. Just as the former does.

Obviously smart enough to realize you don't know everthing.

I think you are wrong on the conservative part but interestingly, that is a perfect description of global warming advocates though.

"Is it better to be smart enough to reealize you don't know everything, or so stupid you think you know it all?"

Answer: the former, judging from the tone of the question. "so stupid" vs "smart enough"

First of all, no one can know everything. I find it wonderful and exciting that I can learn something new every day. I pity people who close their minds to everything. I find it hard to believe that anybody could be happy like that. With conservatives, you are just batting your head against a brick wall, and they seem so smug in their stupidity. They consider themselves to be people of principle and conviction. I've given up trying to argue with them.

When I first saw this question I thought - WHAT A PROFOUND AND DEEP QUESTION for Politics...I WAS impressed.
THEN you had to go and ADD to it. Shame on you.

I'm smart enough to know I don't know everything...but...I DO know you're MEAN.

A very wise 75 year old New Orleans cab driver told me this just today. " I am always learning. When a fool stops listening and learning, he might as well be dead." That pretty well sums up how I feel about it.

Better to be smarter than Bush and his minority of supporters, yet wise enough to admit you don't know it all.
