Lets see: You have 2 million Iraqis living in refugee camps INSIDE Iraq and 2.2 million living in them outside Iraq in Syria, etc. yet the US says there is progress being made??? Over 4 million Iraqis have basically decided that LIVING instead of dying is better elsewhere.

Oh but you rarely hear of the OIL INFRASTRUCTURE being attacked or compromised. Interesting really.

I guess the US government(thats the democrat/republican farce of a government)thinks Americans are just gullible.
The sad thing is that that is the case.

Just look at the stock market. Their investors keep saying to invest, invest and invest some more yet inflation is still rising at a record pace.(And I am sorry if you wrongly think that gasoline and food should be ignored). Why did so many people take a loss from ARM loans in the US?
Same reason. They WERE LIED TOO.
Wake up before its too late.

A homeless man breaks into your house, helps himself to your food and then takes a nap. You come home and find him sleeping and immediately call the cops. The officer shows up, and asks the guy his name. He runs his name through his computer and tells the guy that he can go. You are shocked and demand that he arrest the man, that he should not get off when he broke into your house. The police officer thinks about it for a minute and tells the guy to pay you $50.00. The homeless man of course doesn’t have it so he tells him to pay you when he can. You are disgusted by this and you call the police chief, who seems amazed that you are complaining. He tells you that the man didn’t get off scot free because he is going to pay you $50.00. He explains that the man is less fortunate than you and you should be a little more understanding, and not treat him with animosity. You persist in your complaint and tell him that you have heard about homeless people breaking into other people’s houses and robbing them, killing the owners, and/or raping the women. The police chief is shocked that you are comparing this man to those others when he didn’t hurt you. He explains that the man was just looking for a warm place to sleep, and the you shouldn’t compare him to those others, because not all of them are looking to hurt anybody, they just need a warm safe place to sleep. You again persist in your complaint, and he tells you to use that $50.00 that the homeless man is going to pay you to buy a better lock for your door to keep out other people that may try and break into your house.

How would you feel about this, would you feel like the cops are looking out for yours and your family’s safety and security- that they are looking out for your best interest.

Why does Bush's administration and those that support it think that by killing people and causing chaos and war in Iraq it is somehow making us safer. Are the terrorists supposed to forget we are in America because they are so busy?

I’m looking for an attorney to sue a school in Wisconsin for not giving me my Childs records. Under the FERPA Law I am entitled to see my Childs records under the Family Educational rights and Privacy Act, administered by the Family Policy Compliance Office. I originally requested my Childs records due to a bully issue at the school. After written request for the records the school sent my request to the school district attorney. The school district attorney then sent me a letter stating that under some old statue I was not allowed to see my Childs records. I have filed a complaint with FERPA but they sent me a letter stating that they have a backlog of complaints and they would get back to me as soon as possible. I know they will say that I can see the records but the school won’t let me. I would like to make an example out of this school. The school is so uncooperative and won’t even return my phone calls. So if anyone could help please let me know. Thank you

I am working on a project on my own. It includes compiling fotos and memories from a local building which as been abandoned and forgotten. This building has been around since the 20's and has a treasure load of history!!

I wonder if anyone can sue me for getting this book published.

I called the City and they gave me the run around. I finally talked to a man from City hall who knows the owners and I asked him to forward my telephone number but they have not called me.

Just for gits and shiggles, I typed "Why are liberals so stupid" [comma] Yahoo Answers into the Google search bar.

I got 113 hits.

Then I typed in "Why are conservatives so stupid," followed by a comma and Yahoo Answers.

I got 7 hits.

Try this, if you like.

Of the 7 hits, only one Yahoo question actually asked, "Why are conservatives so stupid?"

This question was deleted by Yahoo customer care.

Of the 113 "Why are liberals so stupid," I could not find one that was deleted by Yahoo customer care.

What gives?

Personally, I think the question "Why is [insert group of people] so stupid," is a ridiculous question because a) the asker is not bound to get a real answer that somehow sheds light onto their confusion and b) the question assumes that all people in the group are stupid.

But aside from this, should Yahoo customer care treat the liberal question as it does the conservative question?

Yahoo customer care, do you all have an answer?

Since 2005 President Bush has acknowledged that humans are the primary cause of global warming.

http://www.truthout.org/cgi-bin/artman/exec/view.cgi/34/12476

This is Bush, whose administration altered government reports to make them sound less certain that GW was caused by humans.

"Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich challenged fellow conservatives Tuesday to stop resisting scientific evidence of global warming"

The list of Republican politicians who have accepted this goes on.

Even if you think global warming is some hoax perpetrated by liberal scientist in cahoots with Al Gore (which is incredibly stupid), how can you deny the conclusions of the president that you elected twice, and of Gingrich who many Republicans want to nominate for president in 2008? These are supposedly some of your most valued and trusted politicians.

At the very least doesn't their acknowledgement of the human cause of global warming mean that it's not a liberal hoax?

from m"Yahoo censors the Truth" (I know I know)
"HANNITY SPEAKS THE TRUTH ABOUT LIBERALS...
He rips them to shreads, like Rush, and all the truth tellers at Fox. Liberals can't stand being exposed for the political hacks that they are, relying on government patronage for their jobs, their suppression of blacks, stealing from the working man to support a communist agenda, ghettoizing America etc."

Even most REAL conservatives do believe that kind of martini infused talk.

Barry Goldwater would be rolling in his grave.

we withdrew all of our troops, whether its from europe, germany, kuwait, iraq, afghanistan, japan, south korea, etc.......we have them all come back to home, we stop all aid to all 3rd world and poor countries and totally become isolated to ourselves.

instead, use all the billions on health care, education, welfare, poverty, etc.

wouldnt that be so much better?

do you agree or disagree?

Last night I watched a split screen of Tony Snow's speech
from 3 months ago, & one from yesterday.
3 Months ago he said firing the 8 lawyers had nothing to do
with politcal affiliation.
Yesterday, he said no one ever said it didn't have to with
political affiliation.
Doesn't anyone tell him there is video of every word he says?

Can someone explain to me how some people can still
take some of our politicians & O'Reilly seriously, when it's
so easy for researchers to show tapes of them, obviously,
contradicting themselves.

I live in a good neighborhood (gated community), but there has been a rash of robberies in our area. The police are aware that there are three teenage gangs behind the crimespree and are trying to apprehend them. However, I know that when I am with my 3 yr old and 11 mo old, I am a sitting duck! Whether or not I'm at home or shopping, someone can easily mug me. Although I'm scrappy, I can't run away, b/c I have my kids with me. Any suggestions on what I should do? I've thought about taking self-defense classes and even carrying a gun. I know how to shoot a .22 with good accuracy, but know that statistically I'm more likely to shoot myself! I have mace, but it usually isn't where I need it.
