I haven't seen recent polls, but the last time I looked Reid was very popular in Nevada, which is all he really has to worry about. I actually did some phone banking for him during the 2004 election, calling to a very rural/conservative area where people overwhelmingly supported Bush. In spite of the outlook of the area I was calling to, Reid was quite popular there.
It isn't Reid's job to win the approval of Tony Snow, Matt Drudge, or the 'liberal' Washington media. The fact that they don't like him suggest he's doing fine.
