appropriate ways to handle an animal like this? The poor girl is still in the hospital and had to go under cosmetic surgery. She is only 7 years old!! and was abducted from her own home while her mom was sleeping.

All that pathetic loser said was that he was drunk and didn't know what he has done. See, I just don't buy that. Apparently he was drunk, but had time to "think" about putting on a mask and clime up their terrace to pick up the girl, took her somewhere, raped her and dropped her off by the apartment complex. What do you guys think that is the appropriate punishment for this dude?

Or are you done with wars for 30-50 years no matter what happens in the world?

Would you stay in Iran for more than 2 years if the job called for it? Or would you want to cut and run like in Iraq?

A teenage boy in NY faces seven years in prison because he cut another boy's hair. Apparently, being a Sikh, part of his religion requires that he never cut his hair. So yes, it was an attack on his religion. However, I think it is a bit extreme that the boy should go to prison over something like this. The Sikh boy's religious rights were violated, but this case belongs in the civil courts, not the criminal courts.

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The 16 minutes it took Christopher Newton to die once chemicals began flowing into his veins was the longest stretch that any of the state's inmates executed since 1999 has endured, an Associated Press review shows.

During that span Thursday — more than twice as long as usual, and 5 minutes longer than the state's previous longest on record — Newton's stomach heaved, his chin quivered and twitched, and his 6-foot, 265-pound body twice mildly convulsed within the restraints.

Is this a sexist double standard? Or is it just pure capitalism in that Imus' sponsors started pulling the strings, not to mention their ads?

Im not defending either because they were both wrong. But if you were both a sponsor for the view and Imus' show, would you have pulled your ad money after their apologies? Even if they didnt apologize, would you have pulled your money?

so the illegals have every right that you do"? I have another quick question. Can libs tell me which country was not formed by immigrants? Name just one please. How do you think countries were started? Lines and Borders drawn? Did God place a couple in every area and tell them to procreate until they have enough people to be considered a country? All countries were started by settlers (aka immigrants ) The point is... stop living in the past when the past no longer applies. The fact is... most countries throughout the world have been established... they all have governments in one form or another and laws that govern them. Shouldn't people respect and obey the laws of another established country if they are visiting or seeking citizenship?

So enough with that tired old talking point....

And I'm not talking about a taser, I mean like on 'Star Trek', where you just point and shoot in the general direction and they become painlessly unconscious, even if they were hopped up on coke or meth or were made out of 500 pounds of solid muscle or.... you get the point.

So would you turn in your gun for this? Or do you think deadly force is the only way to go?

The Federal Reserve System creates money with no gold or asset backing. It loans money to the government (on a perpetual basis) out of thin air and charges interest. Then for example the government uses that loan to pay a postal worker $1,000 in wages. The postal worker proceeds to deposit that money into a bank and guess what? Banks only have to keep 10% of cash reserves on hand and the other 90% can be loaned out on paper. That means the bank can loan out $9,000 at interest and that interest does NOT go back to the US Treasury because it is paid by average workers. The big banks are the ones who created the Federal Reserve System because they knew they could pump money (on paper) into the monetary system and charge interest on money that never existed in the first place. This pumping of money creates inflation because dollars are diluted with more dollars so that the dollars we earn through hard work loses purchasing power. Is anyone else appalled by this? What can be done?

We are allowing Rosie O'Donnell off the view, I want Elizabeth Hasselbach needs to get her butt off the View as well, and I would also push for O'Reilly and Hannity off the Fox News segments as well. Get anyone with an opinion off the news and talk shows, go away, you don't have a fair and balanced view to give to Americans, you are one way, and it depends on who is in charge as to who's view is televised. Well, the guy deciding isn't the person who is most reliable as to the way American's are thinking, and we don't have to stand behind this person's beliefs, so go away, all of you. We think each side should be equally represented, not just the owner's biased opinion. Till you can give us that, get rid of all the right and left wingers, we need a middle wing person to give us both sides of the fence only. Does anyone disagree???
