what do you think we ought to do to persuade iran and n. korea to stop WMD production????

I think with N Korea, their missle capability is very limited, they are more isolated, and we have people like China and Russia in our corner who dont want them to have nukes either.

Iran however, IS a state sponsor of TERROR, has more friends and support, and is itching to use one against Israel and/or the west.

I say talk to N Korea until we are blue in face, and if they still dont relent, do air strikes and see what shakes loose.

Iran? Do air strikes yesterday!!! Are we really going to put up with a nation that is sending aid and support to the insurgency in Iraq making IED's that have been making hamburger of many of our troops, making threats against Israels existence, denying the holocaust, a state sponsor of terror that is now pursuing nuclear weapons? Are you kidding me? We need to give deadlines and then flatten every known military installation and nuclear facility and let the politcal consequences be damned.

First, Stop calling them the Axis of Evil. If they agree to stop trying to make Nuclear weapons, offer them full diplomatic relations and favorable terms as trading partners; and enter into a mutual non aggression treaty with each of them where each side promises not to try to knock over the other side's government. Give up the idea of bringing "Democracy" to these countries. The leaders of these countries know that we only invade countries with no nuclear weapons, but we leave countries with nuclear weapons (such as Pakistan and China) alone. We have already invaded two of Iran's neighbors. (Iraq and Afghanistan). It should be no surprise that the leaders of these countries feel that they need WMDs to protect themselves from us.

We are already making enemies faster than we can kill them. If the U.S. were to attack Iran, a new crop of terrorists from all over the Moslem world would be lined up to get revenge.
