If the issue is the morally correct, then yes, I supported clinton but he just never did anything of any substance, like stop the OBL group when he had a chance.

do you think clinton will go down in history as the one who let 9/11 happen?

There's nothing conservative about wanting to go to war. War is for the U.S.-Supremecist NeoCons. True conservatives know that meddling in global affairs costs us more in the long run and is not beneficial to our country.

Please - I doubt any tyranical dictator can "rule the world". We can't afford to police the entire world. If anything, we should be in places that really need our help, like Darfur and the Congo. It's alright though, I can tell you're just a neocon and not a real conservative, so not surprising.

I'm pretty sure that Clinton would have had the backing of everyone if HE had decided enough was enough with Saddam. Or if HE had decided to go after Osama.

In fact, why didn't he?

If I believed the war was justified in the beginning, then I would want to see it carried out to the end. Surrendering is not an option.

I would back any president who had valid reasons to go to war legally. I would reevaluate the situation constantly and if demonstrated that our strategy was catastrophic yes I would change it. What's your point? Is it important to win if you are wrong??
