What I'm really curiouse about is how many Christian right conservatives will respond to this question with useless, trivial coments about what president Clinton did or didn't do with out answering the question? How many Cons will label me an anti-American freedom hater or a Liberal or a Democrat (of wich I am Neither)? How many Bush lovers will freak over the mental image of their beloved cowardly liar, grovelling on his belly to lick the hooves of his dark lord ? I wonder if this will piss anyone off ? Hmmmm . . .What are the odds?

Immigrants as a mass in Toronto any way are willing to work for far less than a Canadian -

They aren't familiar with labour laws they don't know thier rights

They refuse to stand up for themselves

In the 70's when Canada was a mostly British crowd - The labour wages were good and the cost of living was more than resonable -

What changed ?

Big corperate interests have a poll of exloitable immigrants who come cheap - They are being used as the wedge of big bussiness to drive wages down and circumvent the law -

If we could educate these immigants properly as to how things were and how they should be we could act as a goup -

We need not be divided into two camps - We could go back to dictating to business on the issues of fair wages and win again -

But only if we recognise the problem

The rich are dividing us up racially to have us avoid the fact we are in the same class and therefore have a common lives .

Does seem odd that the USA and Western Europe is destroying itself fiscally and culturally using immigration both legal and illegal? How could this be accidental why would it be done on purpose?

With roits in Mexico over the price of corn tortillas and the price of corn up 50%!! this year, will the ethanol inflated price of corn starve people. We give away corn as aid all over the world, will we be able to still do this or are we going to need this corn to run or cars.

Keep those oil rigs runnin, open up alaska for drillin, build refineries. Ethanol is political, recognize.

I know "important" people are considered assassinated, but is it only political ramifications? Is there a defined set of protocols to determine assassination, or does it vary from "state" to "state"?
As a follow-up, does everyone assasinated have the opportunity to "Lie in State", or is that a second, political/propaganda decision?

As for me when I went to buy a new lawn mower I bought one than ran on muscle power instead of gas. I am staying home for my vacation and doing work on the house, I may go to a local lake and do some fishing or swimming.

It seems to me that the people doing the loudest screaming are the ones that are least likely to do anything to use less fuel.

1. I'm pretty that most of the people posting immature and offensive questions about immigarnts are ignorant white americans, who do forget that their grandmothers or grandfathers were themselves immigrants. So unless your cherokee STOP complaining. My grandparents, same as yours, faced ridecule when they came here from Ireland and were tormented by "native " americans.

2. You complain about immigrants yet many of you employ them. You hire them to do your landscaping, clean your houses, look after your children, work at your restaurants, gas stations, 711s, so WE are the ones who benfit from their cheap labor then complain about how many immigrants are in this country. every time you buy a Big Mac at mcDonalds you are probably paying an illegal immigrants salary.

3. Most of all stop being ethnocentric assh*les. think of how your grandparents or great grandparents felt and grow up.

I guess you have heard of that car who ran totally with water, it was say to take 22 gallons to go from NY to LA.

What happened with him? Did the government feared a economic meltdown?

Maybe because Bush is such a good person that he wont be capable of attacking his own country for economical interest?

Maybe because a government has "never" attacked its own country?

Maybe because that just "does not" make sense? And why does not make sense?

There are tow kind of people, those who don't believe, and those who do not want to believe.

**In regards to all who sent words of concern to Pat Shepard**

A few months ago, I received an e-mail from Pat. She had went though my responses,
in P & S. And she thought that they were, "hilarious". The significance of that moment. Is that while she was trying to laugh. Her Son was slowly losing his battle to Kidney failure. And I had a POSITIVE impact on her life. At a time in her life. That she needed it the most.
------------------How could I not be humbled?------------------

I asked a few of my friends to send their support to someone they don't really know.
She e-mails me that she had spent most of the day. Wiping tears from her eyes.
From all of the e-mails that she had received.
-----------------How could I not be humbled?-------------------

Now, she sends thanks, to me in the form of this short sentence:
"God knew I needed a friend. And He sent you to me".

I hate todays society, i have never hidden this fact and im generaly reported for it. Why must "give and take" or "the middle ground" ...or that old chestnut "the will of the public" (which today actual means the Media) be the alpha and omega in politics.

Mr Nec C. did not get peace in his time with appeasement (the middle ground), Hitler didnt win any awards for his popular policy (will of the spin master...Jo Gerbals), New Labour have not consulted us on any single major policy issue (so much for the champions of give and take) and as for George and his war... well even staunch republicans are counting down the days to his retirement.

Can anyone remember a time when actual rather then spin doctored opinion polls were the order of the day in politics?

That the reason the gas prices are continually going up is Bush's way of combatting Global Warming. By increasing gas prices, people use less gas cutting down on emissions but the oil companies are kept happy because they are still making the same amount of money. Everbody wins except for the consumers which is the way it usually works in anything else the government is involved in.

ILLEGAL: law forbidden by law

AMNESTY: a period during which crimes can be admitted.....

APPEASE: to pacify somebody, especially by acceding to demands

Only in America can certain law breakers protest in the streets and get EXACTLY what they want.

simply stopped buying new cars powered by gasoline to pressure Detroit to produce an affordable alternative?
The federal government is in bed with the oil companies. It collects hundreds of billions of $ in gas taxes. The government will do nothing that will harm that revenue base.
If Americans simply stopped buying new cars for a month or two, perhaps Detroit would get the message and come up with an affordable vehicle powered by alternative energy.
As fragile as the auto industry is, it could not handle a month long period without sales. Two months without sales would kill the industry. Two months without buying a new car would hardly effect consumers.
Could the problem of high gas prices be solved by boycotting new cars?
Your thoughts?
