That the reason the gas prices are continually going up is Bush's way of combatting Global Warming. By increasing gas prices, people use less gas cutting down on emissions but the oil companies are kept happy because they are still making the same amount of money. Everbody wins except for the consumers which is the way it usually works in anything else the government is involved in.

The reason why gas prices are going up so exponentially is because some yutz somewhere decided it was a good idea to shut some refineries, thereby cutting production during the summer driving months when the demand is highest. It truly has nothing to do with Bush or global warming. For the most part, I've been running my Ford Explorer minimally. There is something to be said for having a hybrid car. We bought ours last year and the savings in gas alone has paid dividends.

This assumes that Bush actually cares about the environment of which I've seen no evidence to support.

It also assumes Bush might have a strategy for something other than the war in Iraq which can't be true.

Gas prices are going up because of the war and the increased tension with Iran.

Supply and demand. Adjusted for inflation and pay increases gasoline takes less out of your pocket than it did when it was .31 cents a gallon in 1961.

Over and down to your right about the thumbs down.....this is economic fact yet none of us like the price of gasoline yet some of us won't except the truth. These are usually the same people for a more socialistic society. They only see what they want to. If it isn't what they want to see or hear then it's thumbs down and off with your head in true socialistic leadership fasion.

Anything is possible with the Bush administration. If something this smart was pulled off it would not be George that thought it up.

No gas prices are controlled by OPEC and oil companies not by the President. Bush has no controll of gas prices.
