The hyper wealthy of this country have forever been preaching restriction for the common folks. They believe that they are the only people informed enough to use resources responsible. Fat Albert is a perfect example of "Do As I Say, Not As I Do".

I think the global warming thing is about as real as the ice age they told us 20 years ago was on the way? So OK scientists make up your minds or at least get enough data before a conclusion.

Fact China and other developing countries will be emitting CO2 then us soon. China as a nation already emits almost as much as USA but per capita it i lower..... and the world still blames USA.??

But we are developing more alt power then most countries and we develop most of the alt power technology!

I have been a top Environmental and hazardous waste consultant for over 22 years.

I recently heard from a friend who is a Large IT Company tech/founder that science has gone downhill significantly in the past 10 years. The number one reason sighted for this is Web scientists who are just some nut that has normally done no conclusive testing of ideas and spew information as if it is fact.

Currently NASA and other Government science agencies have had to fire many more people than ever in their history. Apparently these young scientists had been so infected with bad science they are unable to focus on facts and tests. Many have also leaked data and altered it in some cases in other cases they have taken documents?

BTW for those of you not familiar with Marin county. I can tell you right now the pictures you see are typical of the people that live there.

Marin is north of San Fransisco, it makes up the liberal triangle of the bay area covering all three sides of the bay. San Fransisco, Berkley and Marin are all ultra liberal havens, it is truly disturbing to see it in person.

The typical person who lives in Marin are affluent White Liberals (robin Williams live in Marin for example).

most households have at least 2 cars and the ones in the parking lot are prime examples of what you will find there. In fact the biggest car dealers I ever saw in the area are land rover and BMW lots off the 101.

The funniest pic was the rich old white folks sitting with the Che bag... Funny they don't seem to realize Che murdered people like them for being rich.

Anyhow thanks for the link, too bad the ultra left don't understand the hypocrisy of it all.

Any fear of these people come from the simple idea that a lie told often enough becomes truth.

Did seem to be alot of SUV's in the photos and as far as I know, there isn't a huge amount of bio-diesels on the road as of yet.

There still is a problem of lifestyle by flying in private jets, having huge homes,etc. Just isn't Al Gore. It's anyone who claims one thing and lives another.

After reading those bumper stickers . . . it becomes very clear that these are the same people who don't understand the war in Iraq , are fooled by Al Gore's escapades , are complete hypocrites with their gas-guzzling SUVS , and are anti Bush .. . . .. .. . Hmmmmm ZOMBIES ? YUP .

Interesting take. What you fail to mention is that you don't have any figures on how many people carpool, how many of those vehicles run on biodiesel, how many of those folks bike or ride public transportation to work. Did you take a survey of the attendees to ask them about what they have done to reduce CO2?

Why are you afraid of these people?
