Does Libertarian mean fiscally right winged but socially left winged?

Is the extreme of which "neo-liberal"...like say, Bill Clinton?
How does Clinton fit into a leftist libertarian at all?
..can you explain that to me?

Also, how often do you tar all 'liberals' with the same brush?

I think we are helping them recruit by being in Iraq. If we tried to made friends with the Arabs in general (not the terrorists), but the moderates, I am sure they will have a hard time convincing people to rage Jihad.

I realize that "best" is rather subjective. I would like an explanation of why you think it is the best. Even though an M1A2 abrams can survive an attack by almost any other tank, it is extremely expensive, heavy, and guzzles gas. Tell me what you think is a tanks most important feature (i.e. survivability, cost, leathality) Thanks in advance for your responses.

Panel: U.S. underreported Iraq violence By ROBERT BURNS, AP Military Writer
Wed Dec 6, 8:31 PM ET

WASHINGTON - U.S. military and intelligence officials have systematically underreported the violence in Iraq in order to suit the Bush administration's policy goals, the bipartisan Iraq Study Group said.

In its report on ways to improve the U.S. approach to stabilizing Iraq, the group recommended Wednesday that the director of national intelligence and the secretary of defense make changes in the collection of data about violence to provide a more accurate picture.

The panel pointed to one day last July when U.S. officials reported 93 attacks or significant acts of violence. "Yet a careful review of the reports for that single day brought to light 1,100 acts of violence," it said.
"The standard for recording attacks acts as a filter to keep events out of reports and databases." It said,

Why cant we use the Marsahl plan once again. We are spending over 200billion dollars on war. We could have bought any disgruntled general in Iraq who would have gladly fought our war for us for say a billion dollars.

Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee are complaining Democrats on the panel are cutting money for intelligence operations involving Iraq and radical jihadists in the latest budget... but at the same time ordering the intelligence community to produce an official National Intelligence Estimate in the next few months on the impact of global warming over the next 30 years.

Democrats say global warming could have a serious impact on military operations and global tensions. But Republicans say it's a waste of money and resources... and that other parts of the government are already working on the issue.

Glad to see u agree w/ the statute as written. However, I'm not sure why any company wouldn't hire an American for 'respectfully declining' to sign a little piece of govt paper that everyone knowls is completely 'voluntary'. That makes little sense.

And yes, we all realize that if you have participated in a taxable activity, and have taxable income you must pay the excise tax. thx for ur input.

In what world is it the federal government's responsibility to be the first responders? The tragedy was clearly mismanaged at the state level, but as usual, the only political person the majority of Americans know is Bush so he gets the blame.

Hi all,
Me and 3 our friends moved to a house on lease for 1 year. we paid a deposit of $1000. after being there for 1 1/2 year

one by one we started moving out and at the same time we are replacing with new people. after two years the house lease is still in our name and keep on extending.

now we are asking $600 ( out of $1000 deposit we paid to house) back from people living over there to transfer our lease.
they are not willing to do so. we asked them to leave the place. we have called them so many times, but they are no even answering the call now.

we wont get out deposit back until they move out. and they are not even willing to pay a part of deposit to transfer the lease. what should i do now? can anyone provide me some legal advice??

Thanks in advance

So far I'm getting some decent answers but it just doesn't satisfy my curiosity on this. Here are the definitions I found on the two words which has some influence on my position on this.

Law- (often the law) The system of rules that a particular country or community recognizes as regulating the actions of its members and may enforce by the imposition of penalties.

Code- A system of words, letters, figures, or other symbols substituted for other words, letters, etc., esp. for the purposes of secrecy.

These two words are different. Does anyone see why I am concerned about this? That last line really bothers me "for the purpose of secrecy". Why all the secrecy? I know a lot of the codes are more easily accessible now days with the internet but yet it is still to hard to find if you don't know what your looking for. It's not like it is advertised to let you know. To me it seems to favor the special people and opress the regular citizens in most cases.
