ive had a downstairs neighbour, and when he started trying to con my mum (who lives in the same block) i stopped him. He replyed by threatening to get me killed, and since then he's attacked me with a knife and a cro bar ( which i blocked with my arm) and has since won the landlords attentions by complaining about me when ive done nothing wrong. The landlord has decided to agree with him even though hes persecuted me and made malicious untrue complaints. Now i am being evicted. Is there any action i can take??

Some body is at fault and it is not the men in uniform.

Either the RedsStaters and their 10 year run at playing congress

Or Bush and his 6 year run at playing Commander and Chief.

I think it would be a good idea, in my day we had an eight year obligation, either volunteer or be drafted, it taught a lot of people good morals and to be respectful of others and the meaning of discipline some of the things missing in a lot of todays youth.

I'm writing a letter to the Senator and Congressman of the state, and in my letter I want to include solutions to the gun laws in the United states, especially the ones in Virginia and Pennsylvania. If anybody could also include some information about the gun laws in the less strict states, I'll be more grateful. Thanks.

I personally don't believe the government should take away peoples' right to protect themselves with guns. They should not ban guns, or anything.

I was wondering though, what if they just made it so that you had to successfully complete a safety course first? I'm not sure how I feel about that.

Maybe this is a stupid question. I'm sorry if it is.

Police corruption is the worst crime of all because it promotes all other crime by example and hinders investigations because sometimes they are too busy breaking the law or covering up to enforce the law.

A few weeks ago I was pulled over for going 86 in a 55. When the officer first approached my car he told me I was going 86, however when he came back with my ticket he had written 87. I asked him to clarify and he changed his copy of the ticket to read 86 however my copy remained saying 87. I have checked the status of my ticket online and in fact it does say 86. I have heard that this might cause the judge to throw out all the charges. Is this true?

Someday I would like to adopt children into my family and I happen to be a bi girl. I know I will be a wonderful Mother.

I also know that there will be some legal issues because in some places in the USA bisexual, lesbian, and gay people do not have the same rights as our straight friends, so where can I find some info on the international adoption issues I may face when trying to adopt a child.

If you have adopted children internationally then it would be great to hear about what the process was like for you. If you are a lesbian or bisexual woman or your wife/husband/partner is then that would help too. I've heard that some lesbian women have had to lie and say they were straight and single just to adopt internationally, but I do not want to have to lie about who I love.

I have a 26 foot pontoon boat and I rent my home. I acquired the boat after I moved in. It looked really bad when I first got it and I have been fixing it up. I still have to put furniture and a motor on it. I have had it for six months. It has set beside the garage in the yard for six months and i have spent probably 4,000 dollars so far fixing it. There is a small patch of gravel behind the garage and it doesn't fit there. The grass where it sits is not dead. It doesn't look unsightly. One of the stipulations in the lease was that the property had to be kept in a sightly manner. It looks good and 200% better than before. My yard is not cluttered. My landlord is forever leaving me notes or dropping by and saying that there are to be no boats on the property. It does not say this in the lease. I am trying my hardest to finish it. I expect that it will take at least another few months to complete and a couple thousand dollars. I had a one year lease and have lived hear for 1yr 5mos.Help

If the fence is above the normal 6 foot height. There's no slats or cracks someone could see through. Someone would have to stand on something to look over your fence. Mostly interested in calif but other states info would be good too.

If I signed papers to donate my house in return for a small loan from a family member, unknowingly, how can I bring them to court and have it overturned? The papers was signed under false pretences, because I did not know I was donating my house in return for the small loan, which could never equal the total of the house. Now my house is not longer in my name because of this.
