Hillary Conner or something like that, no not Hillary Clinton, but the Democratic Strategist. I have suspected for quite some time that the Democrats are pushing so hard for a troop withdrawal before 2008 so that Bush's plan will fail. She said that they were trying to have Bush set a timeline for withdrawal for later this year or early 2008 by cutting of funds. She also said, when pressed, that after the troop withdrawal the Dems had plans for a “US security force” to stay behind? What would this accomplish? I think that their legislative and publicity moves are to make sure that the Republicans look as bad as possible for the elections. If Bush’s plan works, won’t it mean another 4 years of Republicans controlling the Executive branch? I know that I’m going to get a bunch of wacko answers but for anybody that has something intelligent to contribute; Democrat or Republican, I’d like to hear it. Did anybody else catch this?

Jet fuel burns at 800° to 1500°F, not hot enough to melt steel (2750°F). However, experts agree that for the towers to collapse, their steel frames didn't need to melt, they just had to lose some of their structural strength--and that required exposure to much less heat. "I have never seen melted steel in a building fire," says retired New York deputy fire chief Vincent Dunn, author of The Collapse Of Burning Buildings: A Guide To Fireground Safety. "But I've seen a lot of twisted, warped, bent and sagging steel. What happens is that the steel tries to expand at both ends, but when it can no longer expand, it sags and the surrounding concrete cracks."
"Steel loses about 50 percent of its strength at 1100°F,

Does anyone else find this ludicrous? This from the administration that says that they are all about the military, that they are all about supporting the troops. Obviously, Republican support only goes as far as troops that are pulling triggers. Once they get wounded, they are considered dead weight and Republicans have left them hanging. Michael Kussman ignored problems with VA issues for years and Bush wants him to be in place permanently as the VA undersecretary for health? Again I ask, does anyone else find this Ludicrous?!?!?!?!

I have a lot of respect for this man, and im in a college society where 99% of people are strong democrat it makes me sad to see how quickly the world can become judgmental over such a great leader... the facts boil down, im not dem or rep... i look at both sides as evenly as i can, and i wish we could just get rid of the titles and have a country

I've been told by gun owners that they would never register their weapons. With WWIII on the horizon, what the gov't doesn't know can't hurt you. When they come to take our weapons away and they don't know we have them they can't take them away. With Bush planning to let in 25k Iraqis, I don't trust any gov't on Earth. Protect yourselves and your families!

I just read that the EU voted to make it a law that you can do jail time for saying that the Holocaust was a hoax. Does this sound like freedom of speech to you? Freedom of thought?

Those that win the wars write the history books. Zionism not Nazism was the victor after WWII, and continues to rule today, even America with an iron fist. Soon America will lose its freedoms of speech and thought also, with so many dual-citizen Israelis working within all levels of our government, military, media, and educational institutions?

but do not let people make their own decisions?

Here are examples that I refer to.

1. We must either send our children to government run schools or pay for their education a second time by sending them to private school.

2. The government regulates how our forced retirement in Social Security is invested (or not), makes all these rules on how much we can put into IRA's, etc.

3. Tells us that we cannot carry guns on our person. What are we supposed to do, wait for the police?

4. Liberals want to control health care by nationalizing it.

I am asking because I do not understand why liberals feel it is okay to take the right to make decisions about our lives in every facet of it. It seems like liberals do not trust people to make their own decisions for themselves.

If there are examples where liberals want people to make their own decisions, please explain. Abortion does not count because it takes 2 to make a child and the men do not get a legal choice in the matter.

I am being skinned alive by the IRS and need to just pick up and start life over somewhere else. I have a very limited amount of money to take with me, so I need to live somewhere fairly cheap and also be able to pick up some work to supplement my income. Also, I am currently on probation after being convicted of defrauding the IRS. Any suggestions?

I would like to look at my parents' divorce case from 1988. Can I just walk into the courthouse and ask for it? I'm also interested in where I can get statistics on the early Paternal custody successes. I know my father was one of the first in a geographic sense but it isn't something I can ask him. (not sure if it was our county, our half of the state, our state, etc.) I am proud of the fact that he raised me and want to know more.

A friend I know had committed an act of child molestation at age 15. He improperly touched the boy, who was age 7 at the time. The boy recented revealed what occured to him and my friend (who is now 25) has been locked up with no bail.

Now, by no means do I support what this idiot did! However, he was 15 at the time and 10 years has passed. Is their some sort of statute of limitations on this and if not, what's that maximum penalty he could get?
