I don't think we need new laws, What we should be doing is reexamining the old ones to make sure that people with a history of mental instability don't slip through the cracks and are allowed to buy guns.

i believe if there are going to be any gun laws, they should partain to the gun owners. for instance, i would like to see a mandatory gun safety certificate before anyone in the nation is allowed to buy a gun. as far as restricting different types of guns and regulating the amount you can own and such, i am totally opposed.

We already have gun laws.
Criminals ignore them. If they didnt we wouldnt have the prob lems we are having now.
Law abiding citizens dont kill people.. aftrican american drug dealers kill people (300 a year in Baltimore)

We don't need more laws.
We need proper enforcement of the hundreds we already have.
We need to detect and secure mentally ill individuals rather than letting them walk free.
