I have a lot of respect for this man, and im in a college society where 99% of people are strong democrat it makes me sad to see how quickly the world can become judgmental over such a great leader... the facts boil down, im not dem or rep... i look at both sides as evenly as i can, and i wish we could just get rid of the titles and have a country

I can appreciate what bush is doing - he is draining our treasury, destroying our reputation, stealing from us, torturing people, eviscerating the bill of rights - i appreciate that he is a lying, stealing, torturing, mass-murdering gangster and appreciating (understanding) this leaves me seeing that you cannot be looking at both sides or any sides at all. no one with any reading skills can still support bush. he is a miserable, evil gangster.

Bush is an idiot, simple fact.

Bush should never have been elected President .... he never had the votes. Gore actually won Florida ... proven statistics. We all know Bush received 271 electoral votes to Gore's 266 but only as a result of the Florida outcome. Prejudiced by Florida

Bush constantly has lied to the US and the world (Iraq has WMD yeah).

Bush is responsible for the deaths in Iraq since his invasion, this includes over 3300 Americans but don't forget the thousands of Iraqi's that have died.

Bush had an Arts degree in history ... yet look at his failures... he obviously never learnt anything with his studying.

Bush has a criminal conviction for Drink Driving (a DUI) .... another proof that he was a bloody idiot.

Bush shows frequent signs of "substance abuse", I probably think he had a bit tooo much of the illegal stuff in his younger days.

Recent polls indicate that 60%-65% of people living in the US do not "approve" of him (as President). It would be much higher world wide.

Bush should legally have been impeached.

In January 2002 Bush choked on a Petzel..... dam pity he survived such.

Bush will go down in History as a "stupid President" he has not done anything signifcant that benifted the US or the world.

He is a complete FK wit.

.... PS he technically also has made the US insolvent.

I like him. At least he has big cajones. We have not been attacked since 911. Katrina was really a civic and state mess. We have improved since then. People need to learn that they are responsible for themselves and it is not the governments responsibility to do everything. The economy is better. Bush has put more money into the environment than anyone ever. More people die from being murdered in the cities everyday than those fighting in Iraq. It is the Islamic Radicals that are to blame in what is happening in Iraq and Afghanistan. If they really wanted a better country then they would be trying to rebuild and not destroy. You keep up in what is real and not what those believe. Bush wants to make things better. Those that say otherwise do not. They have all kinds of things to say how wrong or bad things are yet they have no SOLUTION! Drive on. Bush is doing well. What I am afraid of is what will happen to us after the next election. Oh My God please not Hillary! The polls are such BS. They are worded in ways to make him not look good. Liberial Media Bias.

If Bush were a GREAT leader more people would appreciate him. But since he is a borderline two bit dictator and a very poor excuse for a President I rather doubt he can be called great. Previously President James Buchanan was considered the country's worst. His Administration lasted 4 years and ended in March of 1861 when Abraham Lincoln took over. George W. Bush is now the worst and hopefully we can get someone even half as great as Lincoln to succeed Bush. They will have their hands full cleaning up the mess.

It is not surprising the college community is 99% for the Democrats. If you go to a NASCAR race or a boxing match you may see more Republicans.

No President, not even Richard Nixon has been maligned by the liberal media unjustly more than George W. Bush.

He has taken such a beating and still gets up and fights. He's a good, honest, God fearing man.

What part about dragging this country's good name through the mud in the eyes of the rest of the world don't you understand? There was no need to cause the death and horror that is happening, and will continue to happen, in Iraq. Bombing the Taliban back into the Stone Age, that was understandable, the whole world understands the concept of "pay back." Bush is either one evil S.O.B. or he is simply an inept bungler. Either choice doesn't elevate him to "great leader." What exactly is he leading and where is he leading us to? Another trillion dollars in debt that our children's children will have to pay for? And for what? To keep us safe from psycho nut jobs like the one at Virginia Tech? Looks like he blew it again.

I do not know what you're talking about and which side you're looking!
this guy is a murderer and phony. His thirst of power and greed has made him blind, incompetent with no sense of good judgement and has made the whole world hating US with Passion. Bush and his Add. is a total fraud and embarrassment!!

No, he is the epitome of political incompetence. Despite his low approval ratings, President Bush continues to act against the people's wishes, a major inconsistency with "our" democratic ideals. He has led us to a meaningless war and ruined thousands of lives.

I"m in the exact same boat as you GM. To answer your question, yes I appreciate and even admire our President. He knows that what we're doing in the Middle East is necessary and will stay the course.

P.S. When we initially went into this war, his approval rating was around 90%, funny how so many people have that mindset of "this is America, everything should be quick, easy and painless." As soon as they figured out it wouldn't be, they turned their back on the President and our troops.

You've certainly rattled a few liberals with this question.
Our previous policy of inaction and no effective response to the terror and murder perpetrated against Americans for over 25 years finally culminated in the events of 9/11.
George Bush has responded and stood firm against these dirt bags - I don't really see why this would be so controversial - unless one would rather return to our previous failed policies.
