If you can consider this war lost then the only person to blame is yourself. If it were not for this country and its culture of "I want it now" mentality, the military would not constantly receive conflicting guidance from above as to how it should win the war.
If your short attention span really wants this war to end, here's what you need to do. First: STOP WATCHING THE NEWS! The only thing that sells is bad news and what better way for a media outlet to sell news if its bloody as hell. Second: STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT THE PRICE. We as a country have always insisted on the best things for our troops. And sadly the best tends to be the most expensive half the time. Third: GIVE THE COMMANDERS ALL THE RECOURSES THEY NEED AND LET THEM DO WHAT THEY DO BEST. Micromanagement is the death of any business. And mix politics into technology, and now you have the ability to micromanage the grunt on the ground with an M-16 form the convince of your own home so to say.
But your short attention span won't be able to handle that... So If you Really want the war to end, NUKE the place and prepare yourself to reap the whirlwind of being the country to vaporize a nation just beginning to get a grasp on democracy. Because you didn't have the patience to let things run their course.

regrettably, i'm questioning they (our recent & former leaders) are all knotted up! i understand no undemanding answer yet we in basic terms can't play by potential of the "policies" anymore whilst no one else does & that's what gets our butts kicked. we start to do something & do no longer end it. i think of the United countries stinks! they are all corrupt & it extremely is time for the complication-loose guy or woman to have the skill to be in the management seat. somebody without connection to grease, or somebody no longer attempting to kick butt to make dad experience greater constructive. We do & will continuously ought to stay steps ahead of the nut case terrorists & defend our land & human beings. The commerce towers became an act of warfare so we did have the location to defend ourself. It became no longer "anticipation of self-protection"!

Neither. A war is lost when one side loses the will to fight. It's not Bush, his red-state base, or the men in uniform who have lost the will to fight.

Last I heard we were still fighting the war... and maybe its the liberals fault that we APPEAR to be "losing" because that is the spin they love to put on it.

More likely it's Harry Reid and his buddies who gave our enemies a schedule and a due date for us to get out.
Giving aid and comfort to the enemy really IS an impeachable offense!

If you want to point fingers, point them at the democratic congress. They are the only ones even using the words "lose". I was there, I didn't think we were losing then, and I don't think we are losing now.

-Your comment "it is not the men in uniform" is a copout for you. Do you think you are hiding your Anti-American, communistic opinions, negative views behind that statement? Who are you fooling? The troops? No...only yourself.
FYI - the war is still on.
