so is the liberals call to disarm in fact a unconscious wish to be victimized, and could that be some sort of a perverted sexual thing?

We would lose the war on terror.

You would give 90% of your wage to the government in the form of taxes.

The death penalty would be abolished.

Abortion would be legalized, and normal.

Illegal aliens would all get amnesty.

There would be more people working for the government than citizens.

Our military would be no more, nad guns would be outlawed.

Sports would be outlwaed because thereis a winner, and a loser, and that would hurt someone's feelings.

Welfare, medicare, and social services would be expanded.

Cars and other "polluting " machines would be outlawed except for hollywood, and government.

God and religion would be wiped out.

Gay marrige would be legalized.

Sex change operations would be paid for by the government.

It would be a crime to be a white male.

Since someone else thought they would be funny, I thought I would too.

We are never going to live in a soceity where it is OK to carry loaded firearms around with you! This nonsense about "if the other students were armed they could of blah blah blah..." what a load of BS!!

Get rid of these damn weapons, ban the handguns, and the damn automatic rifles! Get rid of them, we need safe schools more than we need your inflated sense of worth.

i was totally against the war to begin with. but now everyone wants our troops out. i don't see how this is possible. i have family over there and they tell me how it is and say its worse than we would think. i mean if we took our troops out then wouldn't the people against the government just take over and overthrow them? then it wouldn't be any different then when we started and people would hate us more. i understand they want us out. but when we leave them and things go terribly wrong, then won't people just blame us for leaving them?

how does someone on national tv get away with saying such assanine things day after day and nobody says anything about it? is it because everybody knows who she is and does not take her seriously? i sure hope so.

just listening to her retarded logic makes me sick to my stomach. she suggests that harsher gun laws could have prevented this incident but having teachers and guards armed would not? how freaking stupid can one uneducated hog be?

A normal citizen should have the right to bare arms!

Imagine, for a moment, this country with all conservatives.
First of all, conservatives don't like government regulation, so that means there would be no child labor laws, no minimum wage, no meat inspectors, and no EPA, because as we all know, if left alone, corporations will always do the right thing.
Then, there would be no social programs, no school lunches for poor children, no head start, no disability payments for those who can't work, because as we all know, there are no victims and everyone just needs to pull themselves up by their bootstraps.
And of course, evolution would not be allowed to be taught in schools, and all students would be taught that any problem can be solved with sufficient military force (all you have to do is kill enough people...problem solved)
There would be no diplomacy, no United Nations (not here anyway), and no humanitarian aid to poor countries.
No medicare, no medicade, and social security would be cut drastically.
Now isnt that great?

"Homicide rates tend to be related to firearm ownership levels. Everything else being equal, a reduction in the percentage of households owning firearms should occasion a drop in the homicide rate".

Evidence to the Cullen Inquiry 1996: Thomas Gabor, Professor of Criminology - University of Ottawa

"The level of gun ownership world-wide is directly related to murder and suicide rates and specifically to the level of death by gunfire."

International Correlation between gun ownership and rates of homicide and suicide.' Professor Martin Killias, May 1993.

Our gun laws are none of their business. It's not like it's causing mass genocide or unfair treatment of people; so why is it their business to comment and try to sway people in America toward favoring their policies regarding guns?

If you don't believe it, why do you think that some people do believe it?

I'm an avid shooter and ex-military. Lets say you manage to ban automatic and semi-automatic guns. I could take my grandfather's old pump shotgun, saw off the barrel, load it with buckshot and kill 10 times as many people with half as many shots as the VT shooter. How will a limited ban possibly help?

If a CCW (concealed carry weapons) law were allowed in Virginia, I believe the gunman would have been stopped long before 32 (that number does not include the gunman) people were killed. If other people carried a weapon they could have stopped the killer.

Will the neo-conservative ideology over-extend America's power and influence around the world? Are we spending too much money on our military? I consider myself a conservative and very pro-military, but not a neo-conservative. I'm worried we'll follow the same path as Britain and Rome etc. What are your thoughts?
