Chamberlain was at the beginning but did nothing he even went and said to his country after the munich conference that hitler wanted nothing more after he got czechoslovakia in the conference. But he finally declared war on germany when hitler invaded poland. But then winston churchhill won the next election and took over as prime minister for the rest of the war. and atlee also but he was only prime minister for like 2 months of the war at the very end
