Someone explain to me why there is so much controversey in bringing the troops home when no one is doing anything about the 75,000 abortions that took place last year in Texas alone? I don't understand the reasons people have for wanting to save a life and wanting to end a life. My hubby served the Army for 20 years with me right beside him so I am all for saving our troops. But just like my husband, these guys knew what could happen when they enlisted. They are highly trained and qualified to do the job they are doing right now. However, an innocent babe has no say about being ripped apart as it is suctioned from it's mother's womb. There is absolutely no understanding in this madness on either side. God help us and forgive us.

I am not advocating the recall of all those in the house and senate who voted for the inclusion of a timetable, just those who sold their votes for special interest earmarks (pork). It seems to me illogical that if one believes placing a timetable restriction on troop funding is dangerous, then how does the insertion of an earmark in any way make it less dangerous? If we make the natural presumption that national security were outweighed by political favor, then it would seem to me that a recall based on at most; violation of oath of office or at minimum dereliction of duty would be in order. Since most states allow recall under these conditions, with the submition of petition containing the number of signatures equivalent to 25% of the votes cast in the previous election, do you think this should be pursued?

This is the first marriage for both of us and neither of us have children and she has been to the U.S. before on a tourist visa, but we just met 8 months ago and don't have a lot of combined assets to show bona fides for our union. I hear the wait times vary widely for different countries-anywhere between 3 months to 3 years. Does anyone have any idea?

My health teacher has pictures and posters of George W. Bush everywhere around the room. One day I asked her if she liked Bush. She said yes. I said I am not fond of what he is doing with America right now. Basically I said I didnt like him. She said "im sorry to hear that. I hope you change your mind" I am not in her class anymore, but it bothers me. What should i say or do or think?

if an agency continues to provide bad service, frequent no-shows, drops patient repeatedly, stays less time than contract states and approved by state agencies--threatens to void your contract when they are cited for allegations of wrongdoing and improper care --what rights does the patient have? Red tape everywhere. the state agencies who should pay attention turn their heads. The care providers or attendants so underpaid they don't care--the agency only cares about the billing time, not the care provided. Where does the patient go for help?

Iran's blatant agression should not pass. Action must be taken. The terrorist regime in Iran should be dismanteled and replaced with a peacful government. Removing Irans ability to wage war should be at the top of our priority list.
Lets start with their navy!

I totally understand and respect that this is a free website, but the problem i see is that people post answers when they really have no idea what they're talking about...and are serious in their answers...it's too bad that such ignorant and misleading information can be posted... Kind of ruins this whole Q&A thing...Anyone else agree?

My landlord works in the same dept. as my sister at our local hospital. She goes to work and tells my sister EVERYTHING. She even went so far as to tell my sister that my boyfriend beat me up recently which is totally outrageous!!! We got into a petty fight recently but there was NOTHING physical. It worried my whole family absolutly sick. She also told my sister that we have a new car and that we switched the plates on it... why that would really matter to my sister, I don't know, but that's the point. My landlord is a terrible gossip monger. Isn't there some sort of landlord/tenant confidentiality issue that she is violating?
