* This would significantly reduce the homeless problem in the United States.

* It would fulfill the personnel needs for the military for quite some time.

* Those who are accepted would be serving their country valiantly.

* Those who are accepted would be taught a skill that they could use in the civilian world, or be able to work towards a military career. They would also receive necessities that they aren't now such as food, shelter, medical care, etc.

* They would be given a chance to earn an education.

Granted, some would not be accepted due to physical and mental health issues, but the same can be said of the non-homeless. This seems like a win-win situation to me.

Your thoughts?

3.28.07: the traffic commissioner of new delhi (which has 14,000,000 people--yes, 14 MILLION), qamar ahmed, has issued the new smoke nazi law: if you are caught smoking a cigarette when you are driving your car, you shall be pulled over by the indian coppers who will issue you a ticket in the amount of $32.00!!! his reasoning is that 'the human brain cannot do two things at once.' well, what about multi tasking in america?

the streets of new delhi are already overcrowded with rickshaws, bicycles, cows, beggars, and overturned trucks. therefore, should our own traffic commissioners of our cities issue such ridiculous edicts (what accident was ever attributed to smoking a cigarette when you drive?), this is what we should do to protest it. (even non smokers should do it because they should protest ever increasing TAXATION): READ ON...

I know this is a really weird question. But I was wondering, what do you have to do to actually get kicked out of America? No, I'm not planning on doing anything. But you'd have to do something REALLY extreme to be kicked of the country, right? America or any country. Like what?

Bush himself said the US found none. But some out there are calling him a liar. What's the real story? Please provide links to the claim that WMD's were found.

I am all for the environment, but when will this end, when will the banning on things end? Am I the only one that worries about the slippery slope of outright bans on things?

OK. I've heard lots of good things about Senator Obama, but I don't really research and I would like to know what are his negative points. Tell me why and if you feel he should not win the presidency.

Let's face it, Bush is the Poster child of preferential treatment. Bush is NOT Ivy league material, yet, somehow, he gets an undergraduate degree at Yale, and a MBA at Harvard. He somehow avoids Vietnam. Can anyone explain?

At the moment rip off the people is proving a lucrative revenue generating business.

Banks, Credit Card Companies, Councils,Traffic Wardens, TV Companies, Ford, Sony, .... the list of people and organisations who are using every dishonest scam they can think of to to trick us into parting with our cash, seems endless.

Now, In 1968 The Criminal Law Act came into force when I was a copper. A section of the act said this. 'If by any deception a person obtains by deception a pecuniary advantage for himself, or another he is guilty of theft, by Criminal Deception.

So how is it, I wondered, that none of the people responsible for ripping of you and I by deception, ie. illegal bank charges, green taxes, mortage endowment policies, extended warranties, etc are never prosecuted?

Because some pratt quietly repealed the act that protected us.

Bur who?
