Have a relative that has admitted to stealing between 20 to 40 thousand from his employer. He has been caught. He has been in a county jail for the last 4 months due to a crappy lawyer. He does have a new one that thinks he will be out in a week. How much time will be served when he does go to trial?

My landlore from like 3 or 4 years ago is trying to make me pay back rent, that I believe was already paid. He sent me a letter saying he had some bad checks on me + the papers I signed. He is asking for over $4000. I don't have the receipts anymore. Is this even legal in state of Tennessee?

Without getting into the blame game, what would America's reaction be toward another attack like 9/11?
There's been 6 years of debate about 9/11. The who, what, when and where has been discussed time and again. Americans have reams of knowledge about the make up of the Middle-East and the goings on in that part of the world, as compared to what average America knew prior to 9/11.
After 6 years of debate and digging for the truth, what would America's reaction be if another 9/11 event happened?

I am a victim of sexual harassment 4 male soldiers tied me up in a chair with duct tape, gagged my mouth with duct tape, wheeled me into a supply cage, used a training aid mannequin in different sexual positions. I did not enjoy it, and I am not a fag or a baby or anything else. I couldn't say stop, because I was gagged. Now the military has a zero tolerance for this type of behavior. This incident happened in June 2006 this is March 2007, I am recently out of the active army, and enlisted in the reserves can I still do anything or is it to late for me. I want justice and a retired Command Sergeant Major told me to get out of his Army and that just fueles my anger knowing that he would have never done nothing if it happened to one of his own!

I am a Chinese that live in Beijing and by comeing to websites like Yahoo! Answers I am shock as for how some people know NOTHING about China yet act like an expert when it comes to questions about us.The China in their imagination is a mixture of early James Bond movies, CIA world fact book is the 60s' and Tibet separatist propaganda.

Some of them don't even know that China is now under a free market econmy and still think we are useing a planned econmy. But the most ridiculous ones I have seen so far is this one: 'In China everyone are forced to wear the same color of clothes'. Where on earth did they get that from? It is not ture and the fact is in China you can wear anything you want!

I understand that China did lots of bad things in the past like the 1989 Tiananmen Square incident and the Great Leap Forward. BUT... if you look closely, China is not the only nation that did atrocities. The US for one had the Kent State shootings in the 1970s' and students was killed.

Well ...Pat Tillman ain't playin Rambo no more...shoulda stuck with Football...mighta got in da Superbowl.

I wonder what them terrorist was thinking when they was watching our Rambos killin our other Rambos. Sad ain't it...all them Rambos playin Rambo with real bullets..scary.

I am going to America on may 3rd,trouble is i have paid for this hoilday but did not know untill last month that if you have a conviction you must apply here for a visa,i have never been in trouble with the police before untill one druken night out 3 years ago,i got arrested & charged for hitting somebody.i have got an interview at the u.s embassy on the 16th of april but am still waiting for an access statement report from scotland yard which you need to take to the interview with you.but i am worried sick that it might not come in time there for i can not have the interview without it,has any body else been in this situation before?would be very grateful if you could tell me how long it all took to go through.i am more dissappointed because my seven year old daughter has being looking foward to this trip and would be very sad if we could not go i know it was my fault for being so stupied but people do make mistakes,do you think i should risk going without applying for a visa here.

I hear massive criticism of him every day.

I am quite impartial and maybe do not have the full facts but consider this:

- After 9/11 what was he supposed to do? Nothing? How much criticism would he have received for that?

-What sort of leader would he be if he just did nothing and did not stick up for his country and did not react to the ruthless slaughter of thousands of innocent people?

- Iraq was ruled by a ruthless dictator who was under great suspicion of making nuclear bombs but was not co-operating with sanctions and requests for inspections. What other options did he have but to invade?

- If, as many people say, he did not invade, what would you do in his position then? Sort it out with Saddam over a nice cup of tea?

Maybe I am missing something, but personally I do not see why he is receving so much criticism. But maybe I just don't have the full information.

I'm sick of all the damn Canadian geese coming and eating American Geese' food. They come for the winter, eat up all the good grass, leaving none for our geese. I'm sick of it. Does anybody really know how much he is watched on HBO??He really is not funny it will be interesting when a Democrat takes office and see where the show goes!! I noticed a $1 charge to my bank account that I hadnt authorized. I called the 800 number provided to find out who the people were and all you can do it get your account number or cancel... So I got my account number and decided to try to log on to the website to see if I could figure out who they were. When I tried to log on to the website, it asked me to agree to the terms and conditions in order to get into my account. I do not agree to these and close the site out. I emailed their support and requested a call immediately since I can not reach anyone live through their phone number. They wrote me back and said that they have no phones. I write them back that I would like to know who they are since they are charging me. They wrote back an email saying I signed up through another service that I had never heard of. I called the 800 number back figuring Id take the $1 loss, but they have now sent me an email saying welcome to my new service and my account will be charged monthly

i know, i know tell that to the men and women who are fightiong, i was one......but in the great scheme of things, was this debacle on terror really so bad? so we wasted billions and are in a hole with some dangerous countries......can we dig ourselves out of this w the next president? and why are all the presidents country bumpkins? all of them are from the south, or loud mouth yankees...we need a WESTERN gov, NOT from texas, maybe NM, CO, AZ, NV or such. seems like westerners have better heads on their shoulders......thoughts?

My friend was convicted of a gross misdemeanor for DV in Wa. state 3 years ago and wants to be a correctional officer and this charge is keeping him from doing this cause he won't be able to carry a gun. He never had problems before this and since then. Can he go back to court to appeal it with a lawyer and try to get it expunged? And what are the chances of getting it off?
