we would COMPLETELY close ourselves off from the rest of the world.
No one out and no one in.

We have seen how easy it is to make an attack which can kill thousands, and when enough people are trying to do it it can hardly be avoided. So it's almost certain that there will be a second attack if not this year maybe in the next couple of years.
I'm really concerned that this kind of thing could wind up in some kind of third world war between the west and the Muslim world. In my opinion the U.S. will react in a very strong way, the are going to defend their country and won't bother going to the U.N. for example. I think the military would try to clean out every terrorist hide out in whichever country they think there could be terrorists.
If the attack would be made in Europe, in Paris or London for example. I think the European public would wake up from their pacifistic sleep and support the U.S. in whatever action they are gonna take. I'm primarily concerned what will happen to the big Muslim minority's over here. Cause its almost certain that the relationship will worsen and it isn't even very good now.

There would be more civil liberties and rights taken away and quite possibly a police state set up in the U.S. These ppl have all the money in the world, but they do this because they desire control over the masses. 9/11 was an inside job and we cannot wait until the next attack, because then we will not have a voice and will be unable to fight. We need to expose the truth about 9/11!

We get another 9/11 attack all bets off.
The PC and appeasement people would be silenced.
The reaction will not even be pretty.
Muslims would be rounded up put in camps.
Those who would protest such actions would be placed in those camps.
That country where they came from would be the bombing range of B-52, B-1, B-2 and whatever else that goes boom.
There will be such a call to arms.
If Hollywood was to step up and try to be stop they would be run over.
The patients would be gone.
Those democrats or whoever try to stop it would be gone either by recall or voted out next term.
Being PC would go the way of the Doo Doo.
Scary huh.... that will be the reality.

I expect there will be another attack on our soil, and that is unfortunate. We have failed to push this evil back to hell and it is going to rear its ugly head again. I am also concerned that the safeguards we have in place today, the surveillance, the intelligence, will all be eroded as long as the socialists are in control of congress.
I believe many americans will be angry, that we will rally around each other and our country as we did before and I hope that we will wake up and realize that not only do we have enemies outside our borders but that we have an insidious enemy within, socialism and it is currently running the congress. Until we eliminate them and corrupt career politicians we will only backslide into complacency. Someone once said if we fail to study history we are doomed to repeat it and with the dumbing down of america thanks to a lot of negative input from the education system, liberal thought, the media and hollywood, we are going to continue to repeat our mistakes.
We need a citizen legislature, not career politicians, we need you and I and others to step up for two terms and help our country progress in unity, not with devisive politics, multi-culturism and other isms that seek to destroy the greatest country in the worlds history.

If the same sort of thing happened, plane into sky scraper, the public would never forgive the president. Any president. 9/11 was unprecedented, even if the nature of the attack was foreseen months earlier. Speculating that a particular type of attack is possible is different from having it actually happen. We know what can happen because we lived it. If it were to happen again I think the president would be forced to resign.

What would happen and what should happen are two different things .
As we have learned little from our mistakes in the past we are bound to repeat them .
I some times think a board composed of people with nothing to gain or lose should determine the scope of our response to such things .
That they would base the action on the facts gathered and double checked for accuracy .
That force will be met with force . Death with death and not in the manner one might think .
If we must kill then it should send a strong message . One that will prevent others from committing similar crimes in the future because for them and everyone around them for 20 miles will no longer exist .
It worked for God .
He destroyed the world once and has brought ;plague ,famine, and pestilence along with the destruction of some cities .
So tell the people we are much like the God of the old testament and our wrath will be swift and reach beyond the guilty to those that hide them . To those who grow the crops that feed them ,those who build the homes they live in and those that have raised them .
AS they say -- no man is an island . No crime against humanity is committed without the aide of others if only by indifference .
When a single child suffers needlessly in America it is everyones fault .
If the community does not keep track of its people they are to blame when those people do wrong .
Allowing a group of people to gather who speak of killing others is intolerable in any community .
Free speech and freedom to assemble does not give groups like the neo-natzi's or kkk or IRA or any group that advocates killing others like those who gather and burn effigies and flags of other nations to go un punished .
We have to accept that as long as we act civilly we will be treated in kind ,anything less and a price must be paid and a lesson taught . . ........
I think it is time to remind the world who is boss .
Those crazy goat herders have no concept of what we can do to them and because of this they have no concept or fear of us .
And it shall be written in stone that from this day forward if you are two foot tall you do not step on the toes of a man who is 6 foot tall and bullet proof .
The problem is the 6' tall man has been to kind to the 2 foot tall man stepping on his toes .
The thousands of two foot tall people forgot what use to happen to their kind years ago when the stepped on the giants toes .
The giant became kind and weak .
But no more .
We need to end for the future the idea that violence can change anything by committing the most violent act in the world and saying to any one who pops their head out do you want some too .
When it is written in stone that this is the way of the world then we shall have peace . and peace for three generations will bring more peace .
A pilgrimage to the sea of green glass will remind generation after generation not to screw with us .

There would be a period of absolute shock, followed by sadness and solidarity over the loss of life. Then there would come the calls for retribution because if we bleed someone else must bleed also. Reaction would depend on the powers of the time. Lastly the blame game would begin anew as everyone looked for a scapegoat because there must always be someone to blame. In short, history would repeat itself as it always does.

I know what devestation that day was first hand. It seemed to affect us much more on the east coast. If it were to happen again, I would assume most people would feel the same way. With the exception of the Dems, who probably should be saying "We should have backed Bush"

It would be the same. If we had another 9/11, CIA and FBI are almost certain it will be on the west coast. (I live over on the west coast...)
They say it might be Folsom Dam. (They have had the road over the dam closed for a long time...I don't know what good it will do...I think they reopened it...I don't go to Folsom that often)
