He's divisive in a way that would never get him elected. As much as you think that Hillary Clinton is divisive (I'm a liberal and I think she's a problem), she's also a politician and knows how to walk the line. Savage is paid to NOT be a politician and to be extreme and excessive. As such, he'd never make it very far.
If his ideas are good, then a more capable person needs to adopt them.
But, no, this country doesn't need a hate-monger, either right-leaning or left-leaning, for president.
