I hear massive criticism of him every day.

I am quite impartial and maybe do not have the full facts but consider this:

- After 9/11 what was he supposed to do? Nothing? How much criticism would he have received for that?

-What sort of leader would he be if he just did nothing and did not stick up for his country and did not react to the ruthless slaughter of thousands of innocent people?

- Iraq was ruled by a ruthless dictator who was under great suspicion of making nuclear bombs but was not co-operating with sanctions and requests for inspections. What other options did he have but to invade?

- If, as many people say, he did not invade, what would you do in his position then? Sort it out with Saddam over a nice cup of tea?

Maybe I am missing something, but personally I do not see why he is receving so much criticism. But maybe I just don't have the full information.

OK no you dont have the full facts reacting to the slaughter of thousands of innocent people a lot more people have died since they have been liberated than died under saddam, he like Tito in Yogoslavia kept the country together with a tough yes brutal regime to avoid the bloodshed that is happening now (and happened in Yugo) because they understood there people unlike a bunch of people sat in a white house in washington who makes choices for people they dont even begin to understand there culture

Bush has had access to some of the best military advisers in the world. When they disagree with him he fires them or they quit. He has his own agenda (and many think it's to impress his daddy), and those who don't agree with him don't last long. Mr. bush had the entire country in the palm of his hand after 9/11 but he blew it. He has listened to advisers that have no military experience and look where it's got him. This country is in a war that can't be won.
Iraq didn't have anything to do with 9/11. Because this country was ruled by a ruthless dictator who was suspected of making bombs was no reason to invade this country and kill thousands and thousands of civilians. Should we start another war with North Korea for the same reason? I think not.

Fair question. He was given good marks for the destruction of the Taliban in Afghanistan but...
His obsession with Iraq crippled the military operation by drawing men and resources away from the on going campaign in Afghanistan and allowing Bin laden and the Taliban to escape.

Iraq. Yes Saddam was a bad man. But he was contained. Subsequent events proved his WMD's ceased to exist after the end on the first Gulf war. (I am a vet of that war.) The invasion was opposed by a majority of the world's countries and the UN. As it turned out there are no WMD's in Iraq-period. It gave a tremendous black eye to American credibility. People that sympathized with the US after 9/11 are reluctant to deal with us.
Ultimately the war in Iraq is "the wrong war, at the wrong place, at the wrong time." Bin laden is loving it all.

BTW I vote conservative and pro-military. I am not a leftist hate America hippie. But Bush has killed our credibility in the eyes of our allies.

He acted as a president should with the information he had. Bashing Bush is the Dems way of trying to divert attention away from the FACT that THEY AGREED with him and SUPPORTED his decision for a preemptive strike. When things started going poorly--they started screaming and "liar" denying any responsibility of THEIR OWN ACTIONS instead of becoming PART OF THE SOLUTION.

Bush's problem is that he is trying to fight a 'PC" war. If he's grow some BALLS and start acting more like a Leader than a "PC" puppet this war would be over by now--

Well for one thing our media does not tell the entire truth. They always have to "spin" something. They did not even report the Brits who were "detained" by Iran. That would of course mean that GW Bush was correct in his assertion all along and this is an election year They are trying to influence the populous

Five years!!!!!!!That's the answer. If you recall your own experience 4 months after the war in IRAQ started you might have seen 5 or 6 protesters around your town holding anti Bush signs on Sundays. After 5 years that number has grown to maybe 20. They have replaced there signs on Sundays with BLOGS,CNN,NBC,and a unrelenting attack on BUSH himself. Libs fall into very neat categories SOCCER MOM, P.W. HUSBAND, OVER EDUCATED NERD, (you know the one who was home on prom night). Now I understand the need for these types in our WORLD. But when it comes time to get your hands in the dirt they are watching the view. Coming up with over the top theories of conspiracies it's easier then doing the work.

Unfortunately there are allot of people in this country who are think people like Saddam and Ahmadinejad are rational enough to be talked to and they are very much the "what have you done for me lately" type who care more for themselves than anything else.

LaLaLaLa.. Liberals don't want to hear that. Bush is the Anti-christ, Bush is the 'Devil', Bush is 'Hitler Incarnate'.

Really, he gets so much flak because HE DID THE RIGHT THINGS. Also because he is a Christian and has morals. Which aren't the standard for the liberal agenda that is sweeping this nation.

Republicans can spin it any way they want but Iraq was zero threat to us.Bush got us into this mess and he wants to continue using our hard earned tax dollars to fund this fiasco. Our soldiers are caught in a deadly civil war protecting Bush's self interests(oil,Haliburton contractors....)He has no shame.
