my boyfriend recently was jailed for being a habitual violator in georgia. What will happen when he goes before a judge?

How do these two statements square?:

"I was not involved in the deliberations over whether or not the US attorneys should resign…"

"I know why I asked these United States attorneys to leave and it was not for improper reasons…"

The nations top Law Enforcemnt officer thinks it's ok now to lie to congress, what the heck has happened to our country?

For example: Let's say an individual is not a key witness, knows nothing about the crime committed by the person being prosecuted, only spent time with them and have seen their handwriting. When the person asks to be allowed to submit a sworn statement to avoid going to the trial, the prosecution attorney says "You will go to the trial if you know what is best for you." and " If you don't want any trouble, you will attend the trial." I was scared, so I went to the trial.

Is this allowed? I submitted a complaint against this prosecutor, but now I am afraid. I mean, if he threatened me then, won't he be pissed now that I complained against him and wrote a sworn statement to the state bar about his conduct?

Looks like Halloween has come early this year for the firey Right.Consider this post from one of the undead:

Q: Would you vote for Hillary Clinton?
tony a 'sA:
Hillary is a child of satan im sure of it, aND EVEN IF IM WRONG SHE IS A LEFTIST AND WOULD END FREEDOM IN OUR LIFETIME! WITH HER COPREZ SLICK WILLIE!

If she's a leftist that would end freedom, would it be like Bush has with the Patriot Act? And while we're at it, why is that so few conservatives actually mention that it is conservatives these past few years who have worked to end freedom as we know it? Today Bush can, by law, read our mail without a warrant!

We the citizens are fully against the North American Union and SPP that is deteriorating our Constitution and laws which our politicians have been sneaking into our government without any oversight of the people. Looks like communism to us.

Reports indicate that the captured soldiers where on a British Frigate (HMS Cornwall). But that ship has a complement of 250 soldiers per the Royal Navy web site. Were the sailors on some smaller craft? For that matter, why didn't they tell the Iranians to go "f" themselves and leave. Certainly the frigate could have defended itself.

One of my neighbors has very explicit porn painted on the back of his truck. I am amazed that this is legal, but I would assume that some police officer somewhere has seen it. It is really hard to miss.

I am all for free speech, but I really don't think my children or myself should be forced to view pornography. My daughters are very embarrassed and refuse to invite any of their friends over (the truck is parked on the street) because of this. His right to to view porn (although he can't see it where it is) is really interfering with my right to not view porn. Or do I not have that right?

Is there anything I can do? Who would I complain to?

By that same standard why don't liberals pay all of the taxes that go to the people on welfare since they are the compassionate ones that care about the poor?

I often hear soldiers complain that no good deeds in
Iraq get reported; only the bad. So here's your chance. give us some specific examples of the good we are doing over there.
Now, one thing. We know the current surge is quelling some, not all, of the violence in Baghdad. Same thing happened last time we did that, doesn't mean the insurgents aren't just waiting for us to withdraw or move to different areas of the country. In fact, that seems to be the case.
So outside that pending situation, tell me. If there is so much good being done you should be able to find a plethora of specific examples. But make it signifigant, there's a lot of bad to counter. Doesn't help to build a school if the kids are too afraid to attend.

Please include a link to it (it must be something that can be used in a research paper, not just one here on answers.yahoo.com)!
