Good point! How do we expect to recruit for military service when people see how they can be neglected when they are hurt, - by "starving the economy" to get people to join? This also applies to injured civilian workers - how can you get higher production, when injured workers are denied treatment?

Keep asking these kind of questions, it's good for everybody to know.

Oh forgetting isnt what it is. Most of the reason it was even brought to the forefront was to make people look bad and when it lost that value then it was time to go look for something else.
The reason it was an issue obviously wasnt to help those soldiers it was to discredit the administration.

That was a smoke screen distraction to get the voting publics' minds off of the Iraq pullout bill, so that the voters wouldn't know about all the pork and conditions all of the dems and republicans alike are tossing on the legislative coat-tails.

Lots has happened but you have to know where to look to find out, thay top brass has been replaced and now it will take a little time to put that situation back to right,

I saw in the news, from liberal news sources, that the day those two personnel overseeing WR were fired, they improved the conditions there ASAP.

They will be cracking down on whistleblowers and complainers by cutting their military benefits to try to shut them up. Also they will be looking at ways to classify any and all evidence of shortcomings.
