So weed is illegal yet doesnt alter ur perception as bad as alcohol weed calms u down and makes u relaxed yet u can still drive but alcohol throws u off balance and gives u tunnel vission and can get poisoned by it so why is alcohol leagal and weed isnt? Also more people die in alcohol related accidents in which i have witnessed (but not involved in) 3. I havent heard of too many marijuana related accidents recently. Have you? As I do? I mean, the country had a ruthless dicator, but at least it was functional, and people could go about their business every day without fear of being blown up. We invaded Iraq with good intentions, to depose Sadamm and free the Iraqis, but basically it has been a blood bath over there ever since. Evil has free rein, and we have been unable to stop it. Our own people and Iraqis are being slaughtered on a daily basis. So I say good God, what have we done? Any other Americans feel this way?

Somehow I think that the candidates in 2004 and 2008 don't represent the very best that the US has to offer. Why is that?

What if a country had people who thought their leaders were friendly, but in fact were its enemy? What if the actions and plans of such leaders projected a future enslavement?

Hong long could that country remain viable?

Would a civil war be inevitable? Would the leaders resort to genocide? What would likely be the government's weapon of choice? When would it spring the trap?

What I'm interested in is not the cheap shot that Bush should fry, or that the Democrats are overdoing it.

I'm looking for a simple legal analysis of the issues that the Supreme Court will balance in order to decide the case.

It seems to me like the battle is between executive privilege and prerogatives of Congress, but I'm not a constitutional lawyer. However - complete disclosure - I'm an attorney, and I just look at constitutional questions like this. Can you explain, or direct me to information about this issue? This is not an ideological question -- I'm just curious.
