My immigration attorney was totally negligent toward my case. He failed to file on time, then offered me amended contract with free services just to make it up for me, but after 5 months didn't do anything on my case and decided to work when there was no time and my status was about to expire...I lost fate and filed everything myself so that still have a VISA...He refused to give me a refund of $2300 that I paid for nothing and even wants to send me to collection for $1200 that forms the last payment, which they still think they deserve...
I'm not sure what to do.I was planning to file a Small Claim, because I want my money back or may be it is better to file a formal complaint at the Florida Bar...but I was told that the Bar can't help me with refunding my money. I have saved all e-mails proving lack of interest to work on my case and I think I have solid proof, just not sure what's right to do..

Was I wrongfully towed?

So, my boyfriend's car was towed when parked in my apartment complex at a spot I know to be vacated. We left the car there for two hours and it was towed. The complex had a sign (only at one entrance, not both) that listed code "22658a." It also did not list the towing companies listed... was I wrongfully towed? I thought they had to have signs posted at both entrances, along with the tow company names.

most of the people in the world allready knows this, that a lot of bombs planted in iraq that kill civillians are planted by the colonial nazi invaders dressed in iraq clothes.they do this to stir up and esculate tension and kilings in iraq so it gives them an excuse to occupy iraq even longer.The truth of all this will come out once the nazi invaders have left iraq but by then people would hve forgotten iraq so no one would care.This has happened in most wars the nazi invaders have fought in.The present puppet dictator government forced into power in iraq by the nazis only care about them selves and nazi intrests not the iraqi population.War crimes like thse should not pay and i hope the nazi invaders are made to pay for thier actions.

For the last 2 years I've battled my ex over my daughter. He doesn't stick to the court ordered vistation. Anything that is ordered in court he thinks is joke. This past month or two has been rough. He's been calling like 50 times aday leaving threatn messages, my daughter is histrical, tonight he called the cops on me. he told them I was abusing my daughter. The cops came didn't find 1 mark on her body. I need him out of her life. He is only do damage to her. I feel I need to take her to therapist for everything but as other things he doesn't pay ordered child support, and I can not afford to take her to a therapist. Can I have his rights terminated or heck even modified would do. Right now he has one weekend a month. I don't know how much lower it can go. But this is emotionally damaging to my daughter and me. I filed papers in san diego, I just filed 2 days ago 2 have the case moved here to where we both live. Can I file an emergancy hearing in fear of my daughters safety?

This guy was threatening to burn down our house, told us he was going to shoot us, and all kinds of stuff. We didn't call the police when he did it because the police around here wouldn't do anything, and we were afraid if we did call them it would only make matters worse. My husband ran into him one day in town and he hit him 1 time. The guy pressed charges, now my husband is facing jail time because he was defending his family. Does anyone have any ideas as to what he should do when he goes to court? We can't afford an attourney and we were told that we can't get a court appointed attourney. Basically I feel screwed by our judicial system. We tried to tell the cops why he hit the guy and they said we could file charges against him for the things he said, but when it went to court we would be charged with retaliation which is a felony. Please someone help.

If most of the world hates us, why do we help their countries with food and money. Like if instead of giving other nations billions, we spend it on ourselves, when we have millions of people who are struggling and hungry.

I heard a story that kids in Columbia, after the U.S. gave them food, they started throwing rocks and stuff at our troops. Why do this? I don't want to get in the whole Iraq debate, but since we spent 500 Billion on the war, wouldn't that help out so much here, spent on schools, roads, and helping families who need it.

I'm traveling to Brazil this July and need to get a visa. My state, Connecticut, falls under the Brasilian consulate in New york which is where I need to apply for my visa. As the visa consulate doesnt accept visa applications by mail i would have to go there personally and cant so I'm told I will need to use a visa service agency. Does anyone know of a good visa service agency? Doing an online search I found travisa, but I don't know what kind of service they give. Has anyone used a visa service agency? Is it a hassle? Should I just find the time to go to NY personally?

My husband is currently in Iraq, well, just getting there. His unit gave us the address and now his unit is done inprocessing and moving to the FOB and is just being told that they will be getting a unit number for the mailing address.

SO...what will happen to the letters i have sent him so far that is without his mailing address? Here is what i have so far:

name of FOB
apo ae #####

will the letters get to him or come back to me without the unit #?
