Alot of the military that were at Waco were stationed in the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City and he felt that alot of military injustices were taken at Waco so he wanted to pay back the American people by killing all those involved in Waco. Supposedly he didn't know there was a nursery at the site and said he would have never done it if he knew. He had blueprints of the building so he knew it was there. If you ever have the chance to go to Oklahoma City, visit the memorial and the museum. There is alot of information there on the trial of Timothy McVeigh.

His defense was that he was fighting back against the Government for what happened in Waco, Texas. No-one knows if thats the actual reason, but thats what he said.

Heres an article on the Waco Siege in case youre not familiar with the story.

McVeigh also supposedly used crystal meth, which may or may not have messed up his mind. Some say it did, others say it didnt. Theres no real way to be sure.

He was not a fundamental Christian, nice try. He did it in retaliation for Clinton's Att. Gen. attacking the Branch Divinidian compound in Waco Texas. Philippines Intelligence tried to tell the Clinton Administration he was meeting with Al Quda there

The massacre of men women and children at Mt Carmel, Waco by the FBI, and the use of tanks against American people on a religious compound led him to rebellion against what he viewed as a Facist Government.

someday he will probably be considered a hero. what happened in Waco was terrible. those people were American citizens just like you and me.a little tilted yes but people none the less.hell we went into Iraq with the same ideas that the AFT and FBI went into Waco thinking.weapons of mass destruction. the divinities or inns were supposed to have 50cal bmgs grenades m247s m60a3 m1Abram ah64s Bruce lee and hong Kong feuy. I'm not saying his actions were right in fact the were quite awful and gruesome. i guess he was fighting fire with fire.

Are you sure he was the one who killed them, by himself? Seems as if when some power-hungry group wants to pass more draconian laws that limit civil rights a little more they can find someone like McVeigh to use. Hmm, what's the latest guy's name again, you know, the guy they got to take the blame for 9-11?

Listen Molly...

There are only two people on this page that came close. catcrazy and grrinn. I've done my homework and I can say that catcrazy pretty much summed it up. Watch the video link he included in his answer. Very interesting. Oklahoma, City bombing is similar to the 911 attacks, and they disposed of Timothy McVeigh as quick as Bush hung Saddam.

Nothing is ever what it appears to be...especially in this country. catcrazy deserves best answer.

I don't approve of his methods. That said, I think he felt himself a patriot attacking a government that has gotten too powerful, a government that intrudes in every aspect of a persons life, impeding liberty.

I think he felt himself an American Patriot.

And, take away the terrorism, I think he may have had good claim to the title.

He was a patsy . He thought he was working for the CIA and they pulled the old double cross on him . It was done in order to crack down on militia types, but more specifically to abolish the 2nd amendment for many people .The first thing dictatorships do is take away the ability of citizens to protect themselves . And if people dont think that that is the ultimate goal of Bush , NWO types , you havent been paying attention .??Doesnt anyone remember how thenewscasters were taking unexploded bombs from within the building???Mc Veigh couldnt have put them in there.
