I WENT TO PICK UP MY 5YEAR OLD FROM FRIENDS HOUSE,MY FRIEND CAME WITH ME AND MY 3 OTHER CHILDREN,ON THE WAY HOME MY MATE ASK ME TO TO POP TO HER MATES HOUSE JUST DOWN THE ROAD WHERE WE WERE,SO I PULL OVER OUT SIDE HER HOME, (FRIST PUT MY LEFT INDICATOR ON,CHECKED ALL AROUND,ALL OK)THERE WERE A FEW CARS WAITING TO PULL OUT BEHIND ME AFTER A FEW MOMENTS, THERE WAS A BANG SOUND FROM BEHIND,LOOKED IN MY MIRROR,THE CAR SITTING BEHIND ME WAS HIT FROM BEHIND HIM BY ANOTHER CAR,FRIEND GOT IN THE CAR,JUST ABOUT TO GO,WHEN THE MAN WHO WAS HIT GOT IN FRONT OF ME,CAME TO MY CAR and STARTED TO shout AT ME SAYING IT WAS MY FAULT,SAYING THAT I PARKED ON A BEND(WHICH I WASNT)TRY TO TELL HIM IT WASNT MY FAULT THAT I HAD MY INDICATER ON,AND IT WAS SOMEONE ELSE WHO HAD HIT HIM NOT ME,THEN HE WENT TO HIS CAR GOT THIS CAMERA OUT AND STARTED TO TAKE PHOTOS BEFORE LETTING ME GO AND ALSO THE MAN WHO HIT HIM GETS OUT AND SAYS"SORRY MATE"THE OTHER GUYS SAYS ITS NOT YOUR FAULT ITS HERS,IS IT MY FAULT

comparing this Administration's corruptness to that of Nixon's Administration? They claimed in the end it would end up being even worse. I can't remember who wrote it, but I think it was someone pretty involved with the Watergate scandal. I'm beginning to think they are a prophet. If anyone remembers, a name would be appreciated. The judge said I MUST take an oath to tell the truth and I MUST answer all the prosecutors questions. I told him that I did not want to testify and I objected to answering the questions. He said I don't have the right to remain silent in my speeding ticket trial and threatened to throw me in jail. So, I asked him to let the record show that I object and I'm only answering to avoid being in contempt of court.

Don't I have 5th amendment rights in court for traffic violations?

I was found guilty of speeding and I'm thinking about appealing. My basis for appealing is that the following:

1. The judge admitted evidence from a LIDAR-LASER device.
2. LIDAR-LASER does not have judicial notice in my state (Wisconsin). Country-wide, LASER does not have judicial notice in 95% of any other state either. However, the judge said it DOES have judicial notice - but he's wrong. I objected to admitting laser evidence without the support of an expert witness on laser and he overruled me.

3. The judge admitted the laser evidence even though the cop testified that he did not test the device for accuracy against any moving objects. I objected as to foundation, but like all my other 20-30 objections in trial, he overruled me.

I think this is a strong basis to show that the judge doesn't know what the hell he's doing and I'd like to appeal. My concern is that appealing is expensive, and I can be forced to pay some costs if I loose (even more if frivolous)

I am a nine grade chinese kid, i want to be a Marine after i graduate High School. But the problem is that my mom thinks being a Marine is most risky than Army and others. She wants me to be in army instead. But dying is not a problem for me , I am not saying that I want to die!! Do you think i should join the marine without her permission? I really have no problem with the army but i just want to challenge myself just a little more.

All for it, we shouldn't kill people; but if you want to go right ahead, glad to see the people getting along so well, and all for it, we plan to kill them in a different form; we're going to give them all anti-depressents, that's how we kill the people we don't want here.

We really have to get some new issues; these show election after election that nothing ever gets done.

O.K., so all of a sudden this really good idea came to me and I just blurt it out to my friend. I forgot that instant that the man standing behind me worked for a company that had to do my idea. Now, I don't know the guy and I don't trust him. I could maybe get it patent, but i'm not sure if it can be patented. This picture of him presenting MY idea to "the board" and then this round guy with a pudding-bowl hair cut gives him a nice big hand shake and a raise to go with it!!!! is an unregistered trademark (TM) okay to throw on anything you want to trademark (that is yours to trademark of course), or do you have to go through the gov't? i know you can technically copywrite anything you create, so does the same go for treademarks? isnt a registered trademark (encircled R) a trademark (tm) that is... well... registered?

I'd specifically like to hear from those in the military (or closely connected) on their thoughts.

Should a woman be denied an opportunity to serve her country equally alongside a man who wishes to serve his country with the same conviction? Does this conflict with the policy of creating the best armed forces possible out of available personnel?

How does this coincide with "Equal rights require equal responsibility"?

Is it fair the females do not register for the selective service? What issues can you foresee with women engaging in front-line combat with men, out on patrols with men, training with men, etc. Would there be fears of a woman's skills and performance? Would you be more concerned if a woman was wounded? Would significant others back in the US be more nervous? Does the branch, rank, or position make a difference?

Lots of questions to get you started, but personal anecdotes from soldiers and veterans win major thumbs up.

finally when we get a reasonably non-bias fox news, we think they are WAY RIGHT. I can't even listen to Katie or Wolf anymore and want to shoot them for their slanted views. I thought these guys were supposed to keep their actual feelings hidden.
