The works (a collection of poems and two short stories) were published in 1984 in a national magazine in the Philippines. I don't really have any document to prove I wrote it, except the original manuscripts.

Politicians plead for reservation based on religions. It is not clearly understood whether they argue for appeasement of certain communties for the purpose of votes or politics independent of religions.

I lean pretty heavily right and am kind of grounded in my upbringing that the individual should work to make themselves whatever they have the desire and energy to do, that there are no guarantees in life and nobody said life was fair. It can be a struggle but if you keep your nose to the grindstone in the end you will succeed. I am pretty hawkish also, but see there are times we should not have our troops in harms way. Iraq is a tough nut...if it was not in the middle east (where our national interest is obviously very high) it would be a no brainer, being there it is very complex...I think the WMD thing was a failing of the administration not to get good enough intelligence and not to plan sufficiently on the rebuilding stage after we toppled saddam, but I think we need to hang together as a nation and get the best possible outcome now...if we just pack up and leave every serious person knows there will be hell to pay. Material shows weakening of climate reports
By Andrew C. Revkin and Matthew L. Wald Published: March 20, 2007

WASHINGTON: A House committee released documents Monday that showed hundreds of instances in which a White House official who was previously an oil industry lobbyist edited government climate reports to play up uncertainty of a human role in global warming or play down evidence of such a role.

In a hearing of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, the official, Philip Cooney, who left government in 2005, defended the changes he had made in government reports over several years. Cooney said the editing was part of the normal White House review process and reflected findings in a climate report written for President George W. Bush by the National Academy of Sciences in 2001.
