I think it's interesting to gain new perspectives on things, see how other form their ideas and conclusions, and maybe change or reaffirm a few of your own ideas. Ulimately YOU are in charge of your own desitiny and changing it can not possibly occur within an internet forum. What we do here mostly is take bitchdom to a whole new level. Fun though, isn't it?

When I keep in constant contact with my representatives yes I am changing my little corner of the world. But we do need to go outside this forum to initiate changes.

I doubt it. Actually political blogging is just an addiction. If truth be told we're basically wasting our time on a fairly harmless addiction.
