Because Congress was controlled by the Republicans until January. And now most people think it would be pointless, because by the time we got through with impeachment proceedings, Bush would only have about a year left. And Cheney would be President if Bush were impeached. So we would need to have a double impeachment to accomplish anything.

Every time a president does something that you or I don't agree with, doesn't give us the right to call for impeachment. If that were the case we would be changing presidents every few months. The U.S. Congress calls for the impeachment,we don't have a say in it.You can always pressure your congressman to vote for impeachment.

I have know idea. Good question. I find it funny that Clinton was nearly impeached for doing something that is "private" but Bush has even come close to being impeached and his killed thousands, wasted trillions of dollars, can't read or write, and most high schoolers could do a better job then he.

Isn't that strange? Truly disturbing. HA oh well though. We (as a country) elected him and then again and now we are paying for it.

I truly believe this it the beginning of the end of the power of the US

Every country has to fall, I just wish I didn't have to see it rot away.

OH YEA, Bush is breaking a law according to a Supreme Court judge. He broke a law when he tapped phone lines.
I FU(K1NG HATE BUSH

In order for a President to be brought up on charges, Impeached, is for the House of Representatives to vote on charges for this to happen, then the Senate will hold court to see if there are enough facts to take him out of office.
Since the Republicans controlled the House they would never get enough votes to charge, impeach, him.
Now that the Dems are in control there just not enough time for this to happen, remember the last one, it took 3 years to do.

What good does impeachment do? Did Clinton have to leave office when he was, no, it is no more than a grade on a report card, and so what, who wins? the government, not us, keep throwing this word around, it will become meaningless in no time.

The public do not have the right to impeach BUSH, it is the congress and the senate to make a move to impeach him. tell the congress to file a complaint, and if they get a majority vote from the congress they will pass it to the senate for trial.

I would love to see Bush out of office as much as the next person, but we cannot impeach him. He has done nothing so horrible as to have reason to be impeached. The attempt to impeach Clinton was B.S. because Clinton did something morally wrong, but not legally. Bush has done something morally wrong, but nothing illegal.

One, he is using an Iron Fist to shut up the Democrats
Two, for those who think he hasn't commited a crime, think again. On September 11th, 2001, an evil atrosity ocured. But it wasn't 19 amatuers with plastic knifes, it was our Government.
Don't treat me like im a crazy little ****, because millions support what we know happend that day. watch loose Change on Google, You'll know that the World Trade Center was taken down with planted Explosive and the Pentagon was hit with a missile. Watch and learn!!!
And he should be more than impeached
He needs to face WAR CRIMES and CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY!!!

god willing and the creek don't rise, bush will hav his day in the hot seat.
congress was quick to jump all over clinton for lying. bush is just as guilty and gets away with it day after day, etc.
it all goes to show that clinton was charged because of the puritanical sexual beliefs of the law makers of this country. it was not that he lied but that the issue was sexual in nature.
thousands of american soldiers didn't die because clinton lied, however, the same cannot be said of bush.
something is very wrong when we excuse charge one person for lying and not the next. it's political discrimination!
