If there was a major quake or terror attack, would they expect government help in the form of National guard or any other military help? Why should they get it?

The Republicans controlled the House and the Senate for 10+ years and the Presidency for 6+ years.

Yet, when Bush or his cronies get caught they try to blame Bill Clinton.

Face it... The Republicans have been in power and lead us to where we are now. Yet, they still obsess over Clinton.

I find it sad how out of touch the Republicans are and humorous, that the Republicans whine like little children.
"If Bill Clinton could do it, we can do it too."

What I'm suggesting is you trade your 40 hour labor work week for food and medical care. Don't take the luxuries into account, that is a whole different animal. Just putting in your fair share to get a fair share knowing all of your "needs" will be taken care of. I've been stewing on this for some time now and honestly think it will work if it's done right. The key to making it work is to not allow the ones making the calls now to establish the principal decisions to get it off the ground.

I don't understand why he would buy it if he is so against the war. So that money is going into the DNC? I feel so disgusted by his betrayal.

Surely if our government wants us to believe that those mammoth engines were vaporized by a limited supply of jet-fuel, they'd release the scores of surveillance films? For instance, the Sheraton Hotel, which was just across the highway, had a camera on its roof. This camera would have had a perfect, wide-angle view of the attack on the Pentagon? So why don't they just put all of this conspiracy mumbo-jumbo to rest and release the film? They say it's for National Security purposes, although I don't see how.

I conclude that a 767 didn't hit the Pentagon. I believe a plane of some sort did strike the Pentagon, but it wasn't a 767. This means that our government is lying.

That's the simple reason why nations such as the United States need to stock nuclear weapons. How many Americans have ever chanted something such as "Death to Iran"? How many US residents have publicly burnt other nations' flags? Let's stop being so argumentative and divisive among ourselves.

So the money could be used to help military families who are struggling financially, to provide better veteran health care facilities, to provide increased life insurance policies for the families of the deceased, and to provide for the armor plating of vehicles in combat as well as the vest our troops wear? Should not the American public be asked to sacrifice at the same time that our brave men and women are being asked to(not quite the same type of sacrifice I know.)? Both my father and I fought in two different wars. One demanded total sacrilfice for the cause, the other did not. We won the first and lost the second one. Can we expect to win if we at home our not willing to give up our tax decrease windfalls? Is that new boat more important than the lives of American sons and daughters? This administration seems to think so.

A crime scene provides clues to who did the act, but eventually, most crimes are solved by determining who could have done it, and who would have benefitted by the act.

Could the Feds have placed demolition materials in the summer leading up to the collapse?

Was instituting the Patriot Act their motive?

If they did it, what else do they have in store for us, using technology and a keen understanding of mind sciences and social psychology?

If another major event occurs, followed swiftly by the instituting of a vast pre-prepared body of laws...will you begin to wonder?
