On Yahoo News I saw that 3,200 military personnel has died in the war. Does anyone know how many have been removed from active duty (hospitlaized, discharged, pending discharge...) due to their injuries?? Please source the information. Thanks!

it seems like everybody who isn't over there fighting are the people complaining. okay. so this is taking alot longer than we thought and were dying for a different country, i get it. but we just took out what could have been the next adolf hitler. He was a dictator and involved in terrorism, and we helped out a LOT of people by doing so. and because we did, the country was left without a leader so if we left the country would have nothing and it would be chaos just so a terrorist could take over. I DONT THINK WAR IS RIGHT IN ANY CASE BUT I'M NOT COMPLAINING WHEN THE SOLDIERS OVER THERE ARE FIGHTING AND BELIEVE IN IT. i know everyone cares about the united states, but in the long run this could really help... yeah i think bush messed up and this should be over by now, but im not pissed.

I was told that congress was passing 1022 awb that will make it illegal for ak47s to be shipped into the country but the ones already in the country were legal.

I asked this question already but wasnt clear, I know automatics are illegal (unless you register them), and i know ak47s are stripped and reasembled here. But all I really wanted to know is should I buy one know before the prices rise?

I think that the USA must leave Iraq eventually but, we must not leave them until there is peace between all ethnicities including Sunnis and Shiites. This is what is mainly causing the violence in Iraq. The Sunnis don't have a majority like they used to and want more control (Husein and his people were Sunnis) and now the Shiites have control causing the Sunnis to rebel. I think to fix this problem we can recomend that Iraq become a confederacy-like government(this is ok with their current constitution) then they don't have to worry as much about power. This has historically worked in other countries (somewhere in the Baltic and then they gradually got back together). We must also have 6-party talks with other countries such as Turkey. This is because Turkey has actually said they will ivade Khurdistan and they could someway make some treaty between them. I do think that Bush has done very stupid things in this war including starting it but, if we leave there may be genocide.

Drinking and driving is NOT illegal in the UK. It is illegal to drive over the legal alcohol limit and as this changes dependent upon size, weight etc and no one is clear on what this limit is for them. People who go to the pub drink 5 pints and then try to drive home are a disgrace and deserve criticism. But many people are caught after being slightly over the limit (maybe drinking 2 small glasses of wine instead of 1 large glass) or simply driving the next day while they thought they were sober. It is also illegal to do more than 70 on a motorway (and speeding kills far more people each year than drink drivers) and yet I bet the same people who are so critical on here have done this at some point. I agree with the ban for doing it, but the criminal record is when otherwise hard working, solid, taxpaying citizens get ruined as people and then cannot find employment even when they get their license back and I have seen people become suicidal from it.

I hear a lot that colleges and universities indoctrinate the students with liberal ideology, because of the liberal professors. I just graduated from college, and very few of my professors ever talked about their politics, unless it was a class about the subject. I did get the feeling a lot of them were liberal, but I never felt like they were trying to change my point of view. I was just wondering what other people thought?

I was in a car accident two months ago and plan on going to court to get this case resloved, since to other person driving the vehicle's insurance agency said that i was only 50% right. So, my agent recommended me to go to a small claims court. However, to do so, i would need the police report. Well, my questions is, i have a copy of a "Traffic Collision Report" and i dont know if that is the police report or do i need to go get one at the police station? I asked my nearest police station and a lady said that it was the police report, but my insurance agent said that it was not? Who is correct?

When in fact he escalated it? Folks. read your history. He resigned due to WaterGate. It was Congress that ended the war by cutting the funding shortly after Ford took office. Nixon wanted the war to keep going. It was wrong to be in Viet Nam then and it is wrong for us to be in Iraq now.

actually trying to do some of that "feel good, hearts and minds" hogwash that gets tossed about to cover your true feelings?
I would think getting our troops home as quickly as possible would be your number 1 priorty, but day in and day out here I see posts from people who have completely lost any sort of vision as to just what we are doing in Iraq and would continue the killing and destruction just to save face.
So, is this a military excercise or is it a nation building, lasting peace, positive legacy experiment?
