It will be very interesting to see if turnout at the local elections falls below 40% on average.
Or below 60% on average at the next general election.
1997 Labour could justify claiming a mandate for change, but not 2001 or 2005.
Will Brown hold out until 2010 and try to use the closeness of the Olympics to suggest the project will be safe in Labour hands?

Those are just some of the reasons of what Labour have done to this country of ours. You forgot to mention Iraq, the growing army of public buerocrats earning over £100,000 a year with a nice fat pension on top, paid for by us by robbing our pensions. The soon to come council tax inspectors who will turn up at your front door to snoop around every inch of your house to see if you have a nice new conservatory, kitchen or view outside. You will be fined £200 if you refuse to let them as well. I.D cards as well.
The list is endless. They are becoming more totalitarian by the day so we need to make a collective stand against these Labour fascists and make sure they never get into power again.
I can safely say I wont be voting Labour and if anyone else who cares about this country wont either.

I hate to say it... but... Tories...
I f*ckin hate the tory fascist bastards, but at least when they were in power, the country was run properly
The legal system wasn't a shambles, the Health service was one of the best in the world, the streets were safe to walk at night (these days you get mugged in broad daylight by bunches of smack heads - I don't, I'm too large and menacing for the dipsh*ts to have the bottle to try my patience)
I've never voted, I've actively refused to vote for the simple reason that I believe Govt should be decentralized, giving more power to local communities, unfortunately my dream of an anarchic state will probably never come true...
So I'm gonna vote for the first time since I've been able (nearly 10 years now)
As much as it pains me to do so, I'm voting Tory - hopefully they can fix this shambles of a once great country...
And we should all be doing whatever we can to keep the nationalists, and other fascists out - we have a responsibility to future generations not to let the Nazis rise to power in our country
And we should be taking charge of our own country, not letting the rest of Europe tell us what to do.
We also need to break away from the USA, they already have the fascists in power. G W Bush, A Schwarzenegger, etc... just been watching some very interesting videos about what the US Govt doesn't want the world to know on myspace
We used to be a great nation, we have the potential to be a great nation again. We have so much diversity in our country, in culture, language, skills/training, but we don't utilize any of it. Most of us don't even speak yo our neighbours anymore, for fear of attack, or harassment.
This is not how the world is meant to be...

it would be nice to believe another party could and would make changes which are so desperately needed in the UK. I hear more and more frequently the lack of respect in the UK and wonder why brits are fleding the island for a better life abroad.

Conservative. None of these groups will vote Labour and Tory seems to be the best option.

It won't be Labour - they'll vote SNP at the Scottish elections now. Their problem is Jack McConnell - he has no credibility.
