Would women become more of a sex symbol if prostitution became legal?

I'm doing a debate this week and I'm trying to find out what others think...
or if you can think of any good reasons why prostitution shouldnt be legalized.

so far i got....
-Shouldnt sell or harm your body
-Wouldn’t want your child to become or date someone who was with a whore
-Through Gods eye’s it is no different then murder and stealing.
-It wouldn’t cut down on rape because rape is about dominance over someone.

What you should be looking at is the harm that is created when prostitution DOES occur.

Perhaps research how it is allowed under controlled circumstances in Amsterdam, Southeast Asia and Nevada, and then where it occurs illegally in other American cities, especially in low income and impoverished neighborhoods.
