I hear your pain. Sadly, neither Lib nor NDeep party members would tolerate such thinking.
It's about first things first: parties used to first-past-the-post need to experience proportional representation before they understand coalition.

We need more parties in parliament and our legislatures, not less, and they need to start standing for something. I am so sick of an alliance of the pissed-off fiscal conservatives allied with the sanctimonious social conservatives (The Tories) being our only choice in government in comparison to the corruption ridden establishment (Liberal) while the NDP eeks out an existance as the clearing house four every bleeding heart social activist in the country. What happened to us people?
Where is the Liberal Party of the Trudeau era where it was all about the forward intellectual development of the nation and the expansion of tolerance? Where are the people like Woodsworth and Douglas who fought for equitable social justice for all instead of just the people with a chip on their shoulder and a big mouth? Where's the Conservatives like MacDonald, who for all their faults had a true interest in seeing the development and growth of a nation instead of just proving they were "right" all the time? We need more of these types of people. We need the opportunity for people to start new parties from the ground up to address their concerns. We need more coaliton governments and minority parliaments.
I just hope we never go back to a Chretien style of government again, whether it be Tory or Liberal. It was no good for this country then and it will onlybe worse in the future.

I think the Tories should form a coalition with the Block!! Canada would not be such a BANANA REPUBLIC if all those corrupt liberals and all their biased inhumane laws and regulations that can give certain races and people more rights over other people- like Natives as a major example! Why should any person in a nation have special rights above others and access to grants and other programs, and free licenses (like for fishing) while everyone else has to pay and other people who refuse to pay get fined or penalized? Why should everyone have to put up with laws that are passed (like same sex marriages) without public referendums? Why should people, like myself, with disabilities, have to suffer disgusting service and treatment in this country, and are denied and ignored when it comes to criminal activities, like computer hacking, when this causes major hardships like bankruptcy?! I say that BC and Alberta should join the states, and Texas while you form your coalitions and end up living in caves from all the BS!
After hearing the budget today- forget voting for any of them! You're a "lefty" and I'm a "righty" but obviously anyone living out in the west does not count regardless of our political views! Maybe you should move to Vermont, and I'll move to Texas! I disagree with your politics and you disagree with mine, but this is not democracy, when certain provinces or people are given special favouritism versus others, as far as I am concerned

you have the LIEberals who's only goal in life is to line their pocket's with OUR money, they are "entitled to our entitlements" gang. They don't and never will care about the common Canadian. The NDP are THUG HUGGER'S, who would rather sit and have tea with terrorist and ,make sure that they are treated fairly {after blowing us up, of course}, while they could give 2 S***'s about us and protecting us from them.
I say, let them merge, then it would be easy to boot both parties out, you know, like killing 2 birds with one stone. They are both USELESS.
And don't forget that Dion flip flops every other day on where he stand on any given issue. This guy HAS NO CLUE.
